  1. 1. Which Campaign?

Or everyone can get a knightmare psionic support frame and we can all play ping pong with the sun and dance on the edge of the warp.

Just kidding.

Maybe.

This reminded me: is it possible for AIs to get Psionics? Just... out of curiosity... >.> <.<

WHY THE [bleep] DID YOU SCRAP THE PEGASUS. IT WASN'T EVEN YOURS. YOU [bleep]ING LET US KEEP IT. WHAT THE [bleep].

Also, forgot to say this before, but my rage reminded me. Archi, if you wanted it to stay a colony game, then don't make all the NPC so goddamned stupid that any idiot with a level 1 cloak can take them out. That's just asking for everyone to take the 'smart' route and be pirates.

I wanted teh monies.

I transfer 2500 Kt to Peri and 2500 to Jacques. You two can work out what you want.

Thank you.

Le gros poisson (a tug) is now operational.

Oh for heaven's sakes, Jacques. Are Jonathan and I the only ones here who think about investing?

Stork, it is indeed possible for most anyone to get Psionics.

Also, I found out how much the shells for my IA Cannon would cost. The sum isn't pretty, but it's manageable.

If I recall, I was the one who was up for investing huge sums at the expense of the human population. They can live in slums!

Guess what, I think I'll actually become a mercenary if someone just offer me my suit in return, I've had more luck as a combatant than anything else. That's right, I'll fight for you for a measly one-time cost of 390 kT.

Also I am selling the designs for 300 kT for the civilian, 400 kT for the military and 500 kT for the medic.

I *am* investing, I'm just doing it in a slightly different way. (Note: Le gross poisson cost around, oh 1k kt to build)

Lee, you know you could just offer to work for someone, not as a laborer but as a mercenary, assassin or medic, that way you could earn some kT fast. If you don't want to do that alone then I guess we could make a decent special ops team.

Nero, we both know there is no more room on that thing. :D

Chi, you're not exactly the best tactician. You rolled more than one 100 in a row during that fight out of sheer luck, then were trapped the rest of the mission while I took out most of the rest of the pirate base and successfully negotiated for the trade of their captain. Not to mention that is your only combat experience so far, not that the rest of us have much more. Though I will admit you seem quite more of an asset this time around, I may find myself using more than one of your technologies.

Yeah, but a lab would be a bay and you're at your top limit for the Estoc.

I could add it. It's not like I don't have the resources available. I have 2 bays currently spare for adding stuff.

Or if need be I could scrap the Estoc and make an awesomely outfitted destroyer, or mediocre heavy destroyer. The Estoc is just nice as a small zip around and steal/kill stuff pirate vessel though.

You have 5 bays and 6 weapons systems, totalling to 0/8 available space to add crap. Resources can't circumvent bay limit, though you're right in the possibility of building a destroyer.

Biological report:

The most common land animal we have located is the so called 'Acid Fox'. This creature, standing at shoulder height, has powerful crushing jaws, and the ability to spit acid. The acid Hydrobromic acid, in solution with water.

The fox seems to have evolved and overwhelmed the majority of other land animals, which has caused a near total extinction effect, and their own numbers are fairly small, we estimate no more than 80,000 on the planet.

The only animals to escape this were Birds, Sea-dwellers and a genus of spider-like creatures that live beneath the ground.

Initially we thought that their evolution was a random event, but after testing the water and discovering high bromide salt levels, and autopsies, we now believe that the evolution was a responce to the high bromide levels.

First the fox drinks the water, then filters it to remove the salts. Some of these salts are absorbed into the dietry system, where are reduced to Bromide, but then cross react with Phosphoric acids, present in the stomach acid. Producing Hydrogen Bromide, which collects as a gas. This, at some point in the evolution, got into a water bladder, dissolved and formed Hydrobromic Acid. The acid caused the bladder to go into spasm and and was expelled through the mouth.

From here the genes were passed on, and through natural selection developed into this strong weapon, with multiple water bladders and gas bladders.

From this we estimate that this speices became so dominant that it sub-divided many times, giving it the ability to destroy all other life on the planet. The only constraint was the need of sea water. This need has preserved enclaves of insects and other small creatures.

As stated above there are relatively few other animals.

Birds are largely restricted to small birds, capable of avoiding the acid projectiles-most of the time.

Insects are sparsely spread, and constantly moving as nests are destroyed by the acid.

Swamp lands and the seas are rich in biodiversity, with thousands of speices, though extra expeditions will be required to identify them.

The one other speices of note is the Spider-like creatures. Initially we were unaware of them until one of our number was dragged below by a 'trapdoor spider'. The spiders are about two meters wide, from leg to leg and a meter tall, with legs bent double.

Further investigations are suggested, though were not covered because of the obvious risk to us.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.
