Dangarous
Anyone ever heard about this Random Drop Table thing? A friend told me about it and I looked it up on Google as well, but after reading it I still didn't believe it at all... It says there's items that a big list of monsters drop that are very rare... Lately I've been killing Green Dragons, if you want to see what I'm talking about, go on Google, type in "Green Dragon Rare Drop Table" and I'm pretty sure it's the first result.. It's on Wiki or something. The reason I didn't believe it is due to the oddness of the drops.. they include, but aren't limited to: 45118523 (noted) Yew Logs... Worth 225K - 9.2M250, 2500 (noted) Saradomin Brews... Worth 2M - 20.3M!! I didn't believe it for a second, they sound untrue and I've been killing them for weeks and haven't got anything on them.. until... few days ago I got an "Uncut Dragonstone" and believe it or not, so did my friend very recently.. and it's an item that's listed on the Rare Drop Table but not on Tipit Beastiary. And today, I got "Blood Runes" x50... from a Green Dragon.. weird because it's not listed on Tipit Beastiary OR that Rare Drop Table... so I'm confused...anyone know anything about this? xSxqPowerx
Old:Most monsters had the rare drop table (even some low level ones), consisting of gems, d meds, d spears, shield halves, key halves, yew logs, steel arrows, 3k coins, nature runes, dragonstone, etc. Now: Ring of wealth update brought a bunch of new additions to the rare drop table (which become more common with the ring of wealth), including the items you mentioned in your original post. Thus
Dragonstone was never on the rare drop table until the update. Neither were yew logs.
Dangarous
I always knew about Shield Left Halves and Half of Keys, just never heard of Saradomin Brews and Yew logs as rare drops for multiple monsters... they seem random items and amounts lol.. Actually, before there were two rare drop tables. The first one was the simple one, dropped by most creatures containing: Gems, Half Keys, Rune Javelins (5), Dragon Spear, Shield left Half. Then there was a second one, mainly on higher level monsters but not exclusively. This one I can never remember all the drops on but it was things such as: Dragonstone, 45 death runes, 56 Natures, 150 steel arrows, 100 silver ore, Rune Kite, Rune Spear, Rune Square, 45 Law runes, Dragon Med and probably some other things I've forgotten about. Now I'm not sure if the 2nd set of drops were actually a separate table like the first or just a bunch of drops grouped together and put on certain monsters. Greater Demons for example only drop the first set of items whereas Abyssal Demons drop both sets. I'm not entirely sure where the new drops fit into this either (not played enough since the update) but I believe it's the first set of drops where the new drops are and not the second set. Haven't killed anything since the new update, and have't really killed anything low level for a long time. Got those drops that many higher level monsters seem to have mixed up with rare drop table. Yes, I assume the new rare drop items fall in the first category.
Platinum_Myr
The recent Ring of Wealth update modified the rare drop table to include many new items, including the ones you see listed here. All_Is_Great
Is the 2.5k sara brews even real??!!! That's insane.
davi2188
I got a drop of 209 raw swordfish from fighting elf warriors the other day. That would certainly lend credibility to this rare sort of drop table

That would certainly lend credibility to this rare sort of drop table Yes, we know some of these new drops exist. Like I've gotten 150 onyx bolts from dark beasts which was worth about 1.3m or so. The things that are sketchy are the 2.5k brews and such, that are worth over 20m. Just doesn't seem real to me, and I've never seen a picture of the drop, or talked to someone who actually got it. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
civie
No Pic, No Proof? It'll require quite some time to check if it is true. 2.5k brews could be possible, but it will probably have the rarity of Sigils/Spirit Shields (depending on the monster) Level 99's[hide]Mining level 99 achieved November 2010Smithing level 99 achieved February 2011Fishing level 99 achieved April 2011Cooking level 99 achieved May 2011[/hide]Goals[hide][/hide]Drops:Miscellanious: 1x Draconic Visage , 5x Focus Sight, 3x Abbysal Whip Offering Effigy Assistance in Herblore, Crafting.
