LitterBug
snaps will be best. do dg between herb runs for you scroll of life This, if you work on your construction/hunting after your scroll of life - go play herblore habitat for juju farming potions.Go do torstol in trollheim and snap everywhere else once you get this + that scroll of life. Shouldn't take too long

Quyneax
I'd say - if you intend to farm herbs for money, rather than as a cheap way to 99 only, you should invest in a few tree runs to get to 82 farming & invest in juju pots, then pie your torstol runs. JPMC Mate
Actually, Torstol is right now at 48k per run, while Snaps are 52k per run, so Torstol in Trollheim patch and Snaps in the rest is best, not Torstol in every patch. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
Amonitas
Torstol gives less profit average than Snapdragons and have much more risk involved.Scroll of life might make it better, but you need at least 8 Torstols to start profiting from a patch and if a single one dies you are screwed. Amonitas
Then he should go for it. With Juju, Scroll of life and a bit of luck, Torstols can give huge amount of money for the effort invested. Leoo
I believe with Scroll of life and Juju farming Potions, with the required level of 85 Farming, Torstols actually provide more profits. The type of seed does not affect the probabilities of the herb's growth reaching a diseased or dead state despite the new Remote Farming spell that can easily prevent major loss of money. I agree that Torstols does grant a higher risk, but the money loss is normally recovered with the Scroll of life and secondary herbs picked using the Juju farming potions. Otherwise, lower levelled seeds may be more profitable.

Amonitas
And without risk. You can get 2 patches dead and still profit. With Torstol a single dead patch is a huge loss. Quyneax
Interesting point Leoo brings up: if you were doing random skilling, not much would prevent you from casting remote farming. If you can reduce the number of deaths to, say, 5%, torstol becomes much more viable. If it's 4k gp per run difference, you'd be paying 4k gp for 4k farming xp, which isn't too bad. If it's 4k per patch, it's of course four times as much, still alright, but not great. How did you calculate this?I imagine if you're considering the scroll of life working every 10% and factor in death (take the trollheim patch out of this one)Compound this with juju's and over the long run - your torstols runs would be MUCH more profitable. Of course, in the beginning it may not be optimal but over the course of a week with like 3-4 herb runs a day - I think you'll see that torstols are better.
