Barbarian Fishing question

I generally do Barbarian fishing a lot. I heard that if you catch 2 fish and drop and keep fishing, it will be much better xp. How much better would it be? Worth the required attention?

I can consistently drop my inv in less than 10 seconds and I get pretty good exp.

I want numbers :)

I've heard alching the fish is quicker as you can alch and immediately click the fishing spot to starting fishing again.

Those with a little bit of knowledge are more dangerous than those with none.

Seems like an interesting method. I have seen it somewhere. It would give additional mage exp and fish exp which would allow me to train 4 skills at the same time. Nice. I will try that out.

Alcing indeed won't interrupt the fishing, however it must be done quite slowly.

If you use this method at your fishing level you'll fish slightly faster than you alc, so slowly alc fish until your inventory is full, drop a bunch and repeat.

So you mean you can alch so that you keep fishing without clicking again? Nice!

I will definitely do it, sounds great.

Indeed, it doesn't interupt most actions unless you do it at a decent speed (you'll have to wait about 2 seconds/until the animation is finished). You can mine, fish and cut wood while alching items slowly.

Superheat works in a similar matter, which is why people can superheat while and mine/smelt gold at the same time. ;)

Wow, really?

Guess I'll be taking stuff to LRC henceforth .... >.<

Yep. :)

At LRC you could superheat while mining, and alc even (or do both).

I just tried this method. Took the rest of my nats (600) and then proceeded Alching them when I got them.

It was incredible, I could do it much much much faster than normal afky fishing. It's so much more effective and allows me to alch at the same time which I usually find boring. Thanks :D

Should be noted that low alch takes less time than high alch.

Should be noted that low alch takes less time than high alch.

For best fishing and magic xp you should combine both high and low alching, also.
