MTK >750k+ really necessary?

Titles says it all really, ive heard around that for it to be worth while, your kingdom needs OVER 750k at all times in it's coffers, I don't understand why, coz they take the same money out regardless do they not?

If I'm wrong then please feel free to explain why, with 'correct amounts' that should be in the coffers,

Thank you :-)

If you visit it every day, just 750k is fine. But if it withdraws coffers when the amount is bellow that, you'll get less resources in return. People keep above 750k because they visit it weekly. as it's a bit more practical.

No its not a rumor, its a stated fact.

For their efforts, 1/10th (up to a maximum of 50k, or 75k if you have completed Royal Trouble) is removed from the coffers each day to pay for the labour.

(So, if you had 5 million in the coffers, each day, 50k would be removed for wages, or 75k if you have completed Royal Trouble; if you had 300k in the coffers, only 30k would be removed.)

The greater the amount paid out, the more eager your subjects are to work, and hence you can expect more resources to be offered.

In fact, you should put more than 750k to be safe, so you dont miss the 24 hour deadline. 825k if you check everyday or 1275k if you check per week.

Approval rate only fall by 1% (or 2.5% without the new quest) per day, so there is no point checking everyday for such a small difference unless you are really short on funds.

Yeah its pure and simple:

1) If you check daily the excess gives you a buffer

2) If you are sensible and do it only ever week at most.

Weekly requires 1.2m in the coffers, 1.275m to give a 1 day buffer.

I personally leave around 3m in there minimum to account for forgotten weeks or rl getting in the way etc.

Trying to simplify a bit:

The reason you need over 750k is because the most workers can take out in a day is 75k, (10% of 750k).

Anything less than 750k gives less--for example, with 500k, the workers take 50k (also 10%).

Since they are 'spending' less on gathering resources (and gathering less), your profit will be lower with anything less than 750k.

I'm wondering if leaving less than 750k in MTK might actually increase profit at some point. Say you had 100k in there, wages would only be 10k which could easily be made back and more with a couple of nests. Anyone tried anything like this?

No profit margin remains constant.

Basically you look at mtk as a "shop"

Each resource it supplies has a set price.

And each bonus item appears every X normal items.

Like I think it's 100 coal produces 1 gem.

Each day workers take money (75k for this example)

75k between 15 workers is 5k each.

Approval rating is then considered.

If approval is 50% each worker spends 50% of their 5k on resources and 50% on themselves (eg no outcome)

But let's assume approval is 100%

Full 75k is spent on resources of you're choice.

If coffers only took say 15k.

Each worker would only get 1k to spend.

And as such would only return 1k of resources.

Profit margin would be the same as the resource cost the same amounts, just you have 15 times less of it and therefore 15 times less profit.

The only variable that can affect it is length of time left due to rounding of the decimal resources.

Maples as an example anything under like a month 9 workers produce same amount of nests as 10, as rs always rounds down.

Anything over that and the decimals reach 1.0something meaning you get the 1 extra log necessary to trigger 1 more nest.

you never actually lose money from MTK (using maples + coal) if that's your question.

think of MTK as your buying the item from GE for "less" and then flipping it for "more"

100k means you would get about 100 maple logs and 1 nest a day for 10k loss? This would result in about 10k profit(7k from logs, 7k from coal and 7 for 1 crushed nest) unless your lucky and get a high lvl seed. If you choose to put the 750k+ in the coffers your looking at 7,5 times that profit at the very least and 7,5 times more chance of getting a yew/magic/palm seed...

Basically: just put the dang money in the coffers...
