How old are you?

1987, not 1980

Oh sorry, you just said 80's

It's fine, but yes, my job in the 80's was awesome. I had taken classes on computers before, even though i an Honours Student with Dreams of going to Oxford to study Tolkiens writings in depth, i decided that i would take some night school while working with my Uncle at his Company as his assistant and he taught me alot about more about computers which was my ultimate reason for going to college, and when he passed away he left me some money so for a couple of years i had went to school and took Computer Sciences at Aquinas University, and basically in 1991 i was working with a Ship building company in Part Huron and i was only 23 at the time, lived in a apartment in Bay city and things just got better and better

My first job would've been loading up cargo on trucks.

I get a piece of paper, I have to get all the stuff from all around the warehouse, put it on a cart ready for shipping and repeat..

Or clean, in the same darn warehouse.

God, I'm happy I left there. :)

Current job is way better. :P

Haha. Kidding. I definitely do not want to work in a fastfood restaurant so I'm aiming to get a job at Chapters. It's a bookstore since I love books and I can probably get major discounts there and yeah. Good job tho, you probably have some connection at Wendy's so you got in.

About 6 months after I turned 16, I went and got a job at Red Lobster as a host. For those of you who don't know what Red Lobster is, its a pretty large seafood chain (kind of common sense). Yeah, I got paid 6 dollars an hour, which wasn't too bad I guess. And I got 50 percent off all my meals, and the bartender was really nice, she would always make me Sunset Passions and Strawberry Pina Coladas :) Nonalcoholic of course... :P Yet, it was a great job. The only flaw was that every other person that worked there was well... Not straight. As in, guys 'digging' other guys.

Yeah.

Anyway, I ended up quitting about one and a half months ago, because I ended up training a bunch of other hosts (I was sort of the leader of the hosts who basically made all the decisions with the managers for them), who eventually forced me to do more menial tasks like clean tables and run 'errands'. I could've claimed seniority over them (which I did at times), but they were simply more energetic than I was. Yeah, sad sad story.

Well, conclusion: I left. Yep.

More time to concentrate on school now, so far I'm ranked number 3 out of 601 students in my class, hopefully I'll go to a good college.

Oooh yeah, forgot to mention, today is my birthday too! Hehe, 17. Rated R movies hee hee.

Yeah, this post turned into one long one about me telling all the good and bad recently in my life. I think i'll stop now :P

Cold stone.

For those of you outside the u.s.. I basically made and served ice cream.

AHh, sooo good.

For me, Williams Sonoma in the stock room. My mom likes working there during the holiday season because she gets a 40% discount (she has a main job though, she just does it for fun). So I decided, what the heck, and decided to work there.

After the first like, three times of working, I had made close to $150, so I didn't think it was that bad. I mean, I'm only 16, and besides for my new acoustic bass, what do I need money for...okay, perhaps dates, but whatever.

Anyhow, I'm probably going to intern at one of my dad's friends job. He is a 3D animator for Eli Lily. Very cool job.

EDIT: SUNMAN my backyard is part of a 36 hole golf course, and I REALLY should do that. I was afraid that there would be too much training (even though I play a bit of golf...) so I didn't do it last summer. But my friend did it last summer and made about $1500 from June-Agust. Not bad...

I sold newspapers back when I was around 10

It was just a summer job

Paperround, for some free local paper. After half a year I started dumping them because I wanted to do fun things.
