I just spent like 15m on my house. I realized this was a mistake, AFTER I spent it all. I'm happy with my house now, but I need some way to make money. That's not what I need help on though. While I figure out the best way to make money, I decided to get Dark Stone in my house from Love Story. I am working my way up through the chain of quests, and got stuck at legends quest. I have trained herblore maybe 3 times in my life. It's level 34 right now. I need to to become 43. I have time, but not funds. So, what would be the best way to train herblore? Like I said, I don't need it to be fast, I just need it to be cheap. Any suggestions?

Tears if it is your lowest skill and peng points. You can also make potions, which will be faster, but somewhat expensive.

I'm working on making it my lowest skill for tears, but I don't think that'll work more than once. I've already put my penguin points into that for this week. I'm kind of wishing I had waited until I had done tears first. Ah well - Getting summoning up will help in the log run.

Buy chocolates from the lumbridge chest every day and youll have cheap herb xp in no time. Have harralanders in the ge while you collect the chocolates.

could always kill the lvl 2 men or chaos druids or chaos druid warriors, don't forget about Kingdom also

Buy grimy herbs, clean them, sell them, repeat.

if you can do manage thy kingdom. and if you can do royal trouble.

both quests are like a bajillion times worth it.

 

a tip, buy marrentill because they are litterly dirt cheap. and make anti pots.

if you get them to sell, you will make a profit.

As far as I can remember you in fact need level 45 herblore for the legends quest however you can boost from 43. You boost from 43 using Greenman (M) ale which again irc is about 50k.. The money you will spend on the boost is probably equivalent to about what 34 - 45 costs if you just do it buying the cheapest experience you can.

Do quests that give herb xp? Eadgar Ruse and My Arm's Big Adventure give quite a bit of xp each.

Sweet, thanks for the tips. I'll probably end up doing a lot of the quests, and activities mentioned. I'm also interested to know that the boost costs so much. Should have looked that up first. I guess I'll just get it to 44, and use a normal Greenman's Ale. Thanks again!
