Why not post what spells you will be using? and also inventories? and what is your aim? to do several chests by using ancients or?

I'll be doing slayer dart, inventory would be minds, deaths, house tabs (have kharyrll port), 4-6 pray pots, spade, rest monks, if that works. I'm just aiming to do chests reasonably fast and simple for some cash, I don't know how many I could do in one trip (in the past I just house tabbed after every chest).

You should bring full guthans for healing and wear some good melee def gear or just keep guthans on if you don't have any. Bring a spec weapon like an sgs or claws. Don't tele after every chest, just walk back up to the surface, its faster. And I would also suggest using a freeze spell, ie ice burst, and then switch to a salamander to kill them.

Wouldn't waste your time on slayer dart; why not use the black sally freezing and sidestepping instead? You would kill them faster and wouldn't need as much pray.

Don't use slayer dart it is outdated! Your defence is perfectly good enough to tank the brothers attacks. You have high enough mage for ice blitz. Sell your SoL and spend it on something else - this is your gear:

 

Helm: Verac's Helm > Helm of N' > Farseer Helm

Top: Ahrim's Robetop > Mystic Robetop > Verac's Brassard

Bottom: Verac's Plateskirt > Other barrows bottoms > Could even get away with Rune

Primary weapon: Black Salamander

Secondary weapon: Chaotic Weaponry > Whip/Korasi/Dragon Scim

Special Attack weapon: Dragon claws > Korasi

Hands: RFD Gloves > Regen Bracelet

Boots: Infinity boots > Mage Boots > Dragon boots

Shield: When using melee weapon Dragon defender

Plan A: (Use this if you are confident of your ability to tank Ahrim's Mage attack at your levels Karil's would probably be needed to do this effectively)

 

Karil: Pray protect from Range and Piety sip Super attack and Strength drop down into crypt and kill him! If tunnel: Move on to Ahrim and Spec him out instead using your mage protect prayer.

Verac: Sip your super defence. Pray protect from melee as you enter and make sure to freeze him with ice burst quickly stepping aside to avoid his melee attack the most accurate of all the brothers. If tunnel: move on to next step.

Dharok: Pray throughout the fight if you have enough left otherwise flick on protect from melee as he becomes unfrozen in case you've messed up safespotting him.

Guthan/Torag: Kill these brothers in whatever order you want they are both easy and should present no problem at all.

Ahrim: Kill him with your re-generated spec tanking his mage hits and his curses will only deplete your stats from their potted highs.

 

Plan B: (Do not want to tank Ahrim as you are a [kitty])

 

Karil: Same as before but only use 50% of special attack bar.

Ahrim: Use the rest of your special attack bar.

Dharok: Do him before Verac if you are unsure of your ability to avoid his attacks once he is unfrozen -> you really shouldn't be this dumb.

Verac: Same as before.

Torag/Guthan: Same as before.

This is all good, but if you are a (kitty) like me, I find that using v skirt and brassy, neit helm, infinity boots, best ammy and gloves, god cape (the one w/ the mage bonus, might be cloak :/ ) and a black sally is good enough for all the brothers except ahrim, who you can use a whip and dds/claws/other spec weapon and your best defender against. It's simpler, albeit less efficient (as anathemic as that may be to some people). I, even with my relatively poor stats the last time I did barrows (I've been merching and dungeoneering since, and have improved my stats since), was able to manage 2-3 runs per inventory. You may add guthans in there to heal with, as well.

 

Edit - I prayed against all the brothers except guthan and torag, and used mage sally attack against all the brothers except ahrim, who I meleed. Again, this is a bit more costly, but you retain the normal spellbook, and its simpler. Oh, and bring a holy wrench if you are praying.

 

And in a slight tangent, don't forget to merch/farm/mtk while you are doing this, makes your gp/hr better.

Valid points - however I wouldn't recommend the use of guthans if you have over 50 construction (or whatever it is for alter and portals) have done 'Desert Treausre' and 'In search of Myreque' then getting to barrows is so fast your ability to do fast chests is more important than your staying power.

Whatever you decide to do ditch the prayer gear, itl drain at massive amount no matter what you do to try to fix that.
