1- Do you need all beginner tasks to get the reward for the Lumb diary? In the website it refers that you don't need the "pre-beginner" ones, but I can't seem to claim my. Nvm, I filtered non-set tasks and got 3 set ones left =P

2- How does a surgebox work? I don't really get it because I never used one. You can store basic runes, or all runes that work for surge spells? And how many "casts" can you store? Because I'm wondering if it's handy in order to save inv space if you're constantly on lunars.

Thanks.

In a Surgebox, you can store 125 casts of Air Wave or Air Surge. The casts will never go away unless you release the runes out of the surgebox. Also, every 5th hit, you get a damage boost.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure the surgeboxes outside dungeoneering can store inf amount of ammo. The only reason surgebox inside dungeoneering have a 125 limit was because that's the ammo limit for a bind.

Isn't rs wiki awesome.

No it's not, if you learn to read it you would see it doesn't give the information about amount of runes that can be stored. Aren't "smart" people awesome.

A dungeoneering surgebox will hold 125 charges. One charge is added by using 1 blood 5 air or 1 blood 1 death 7 air on the box, depending on setting. If you set it to waves it will take only blood and air, and each charge will replace one casts' worth of those runes in wave spells you cast. You can set it to surge for the same effect with surge spells.

Surface surgeboxes are the same, but they will hold any number of charges and you will get a critical hit every fifth hit, provided you keep casting continuously.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but can't you not use the surgebox if you're on lunars?

You can't cast wave/surge spells on lunars, so there aren't any spells you will need those charges on, unless you cast spellbook swap. As for saving bank space, you'd have to have an exact 1:1:7 ratio of blood:death:air runes at all times.

He wasn't talking about DG. I think I phrased my post wrong. I meant that you will not lose the 125 charges unless you release them out of the surgebox, but I didn't mean it would be infinite.
