First Pixel Attempt

Featured Replies

So I was browsing tip.It one day and ran across the Media Discussion. The quality of the art here is so amazing, and I completely loved the pixel signatures in particular, so I tried to make my own.

Thank you to the many guides that are on this forum! They really helped.

Comments and critisisms please... This is my very first pixel signature, made almost entirely in Paint.

EDIT: Here's an update...

pretty good :) ummm one little thing...the scimitar looks a little big but you may have wanted it that way....

your scimmy is WAAAAYYYYYYYY too fat..lol

your trees look kid of sumpy to mee...and the bg is kind of empty

on the cape, remember these are FOLDS not actual ridges, the game messes this up, dont make the sam mistake

shields are typically worn with a strap in the hand and a strap keeping the shield in place on the forarm (he should be holding the strap

thanks everyone for the sigs!

nice work.

What you gotta change is that skimmy... way to wide. i like the armour, nice. not much detail in the sig either, put some stuff on the ground nad BG. bones, skelotons, rocks, trees anything u want. mountains dont have much shading, the trees are deformed imo.

hope i helped

Yep scimmy too wide but interesting shading/coloring. Add darker shades, but that's a nice original coloring style, artistic.

OK, I've done a bit of an update.

Things I've fixed:

- Scimitar is much thinner

- The shading on the cape is not as "deep"

- The straps on the shield are fixed

- Trees were taken out

- Hills were given a bit more shading

- Ground shading changed

- Added a moon

- Text location edited a little

I decided not to put any extra stuff in, like rocks/trees/bones/etc. I thought I would keep it simple, without any distractions from the main feature, the guy in rune.

So, please, tell me what you think. :)

The Update is really good, look at some other threads and take note of their trees, notice there is tons of trees in wilderness. It would also be pretty cool to add some lava as there is lots of that too.

Peronally I think you should make him looking at a Red Dragon (breathign fire into the air maybe?) across a river of lava, that would be awsome and im sure you could make tons of money from selling it.

Good Luck,

I think that is fantastic for your first. And well done for actually listening and using cc, its a skill that alot of people can't seem to manage. (perhaps they are too arrogant, i dunno) Anyway, good job.
