Well, I've been trying to dungeoneer for about a week now, I've managed to get to 64, but 117 is getting quite tedious with the rage-quitters, the leechers, and the like. Ultimately I want 80 dungeoneering to get my first chaotic weapon, and perhaps continue on later for more rewards. I have no plans at this moment of maxing it out or continuing to dungeoneer after 80. I know clans like DGS do not like it when people abuse their services for chaotic weapons. I have a SSH, promethium 2h, and laws bound; would there be a better world or group I could dungeoneer with that would accept me?

 

Also:

 

- Is it worth constructing an altar in the base room and fishing extra food or would that take up too much time? (I find myself dieing lacking prayer or food quite often.)

- Would it be better for me to host floors and key in 117?

- How can I get a primal battleaxe and is it better than the promethium 2h?

It is usually better to solo, given you can do roughly 15 minute medium dungeons, than to do w117 larges. However ideally larges are pretty much the best xp as long as you can do them efficiently, which simply isn't going to happen on world 117.

For your questions, it is alright to fish or make an altar if you're idling (when there's no gds and such that need to be done), though if your keyer says to do it at another time, or not at all you should listen to them because they are law. Though I'd hope they wouldn't tell you not to make an altar. :P

 

Hosting your floors is also a good thing to do because I find as long as you have someone on a team who can plow forward and take iniative, at the least the rest of the team will trail behind, so it would be even better if you key and have a friend come with you.

 

The third question I don't have that much information, so I don't feel like I could answer it without misleading you. :P

You might want confirmation by a DGS Admin on the last question, because it depends on how well of a DGer you are.

To be frank, on w117 it really doesn't matter what you do at your level. If you only want 80 then you're not going to be Dungeoneering for very long, regardless of your current level.

You might want to make some friends who dung as well. It makes time go much faster if your joking on skype or vent or whatever and you know they will be good or at least decent every time. As for your questions:

 

- ask the keyer, normally the answer will be yes for an altar and no for fishing... but ask anyway

- I usually need to pick up one or two randoms (people from 117) to dung with because I am with my friends every time I dung. I find it impossible to dung on 117 without at least two of my friends coming with me. And if your going to host.. make sure you know how to key!

- A primal baxe is dropped by the boss at lvl 89 dung. His name is yk lagor the thunderous. I've seen people use a prom 2h and a primal baxe. They are pretty close replacements, though I think a prom 2h is a bit better. However, a primal baxe is better if your using tank. but don't do that unless your keying.

I do have a couple of really good friends, and we Skype often, but they're not really into dungeoneering. I do key a lot of floors, just because I like to be in charge of my own and the teams "destiny". The floors aren't quick, and I do end up dieing a couple times though. Any tips to improve that? Sometimes it is from randoms just simply not listening when I tell them there's a GD or something.
