Making dragon bolts by cutting dragonstone and add the tips to runite bolts is about 3.7k loss per dragonstone (it used to be profit per dragonstone). How is this possible. I mean, when the loss is this much per dragonstone, you should expect that everyone stops making dragon bolts. This should result in a higher price of dragon bolts (basic economics). Why isnt this happening?? (also diamond bolts at the moment).

I don't think a lot of people use dragon bolts anymore and instead use cheaper ones such as broads. When it comes to dragon bolts in general, more people would use the enchanted versions more, so not sure which one you were looking at.

 

That means less demand overall, so the price won't increase too much.

Dragonstone has better uses now like with the ring of wealth providing teleports.

I'm not 100% sure why though.

Dragonstone bolts (e) are worth more by the way and at the moment the bolts are dropping.

Nope, it's impossible to dupe items. Atleast, that's what I was told when I said that I had been shown a glitch that allowed item duping to happen. :rolleyes:

There was a glitch where you could make 12 dbolts from 1 bolt tip and 1 bolt (programming error). This has been fixed, but many people made like 50m/hr because of it.

 

The fact of the matter is that prices fluctuate. There is a number of factors, but give it a week or two, and I'm sure that you'll be back to making a profit from bolt cutting.

It may be manipulated.

It's a dead item. No one uses them because mith and broad bolts are more cost effective, and the ring of stone, glory, and the likes are better uses for DragonStone.

I was around for the phat duping fiasco in classic. I was being sarcastic about items not being able to be duped (I still know how to do so, but people here on TIF just tell me I'm full of [cabbage] (I was shown how to do it over a month ago and it still hasn't been patched, you can dupe nearly any item with the glitch. (No, I haven't abused it, I don't feel like getting my main account banned and also don't have the money to get 79 construction on a noob account.)))
