I'm currently 70 slayer, going to be going for 85, and hopefully by then whips will be up, haha. I'm going to do Slayer as soon as I get 99 fletching. ANYWAY, Would 70-85 slayer suffice for enough charms to get 52-68 Summoning? I already have over 120+ crimson, 40+ blue, 1k+ gold, and 700+ green charms banked... Will that get me to 68?

70-85 slayer with DEFINETLY get you enough charms for 68 summoning. From 50-67 slayer I've gotten enough for 73-79 almost.

 

Sadly whips will probably not ever go back up again. The reason they dropped in price is because none are removed from the game, like they were in before the wildy returned. Now whips are only ever brought into the game and not removed which causes them to go down in price. Unless people start alching whips and stop killing abbysal demons, whip most likely will only continue downward in price for a while.

Makes sense. The prices has been so odd. Back when the freetrade/wild first came out, weren't whips like 1.5m? Even if they go up another 500k that'd be cool with me. The price has went down to as much as 800k this week, now is back up to 1m.

I would'nt expect whips to raise to 1.5m, with the wilderness changes, whips are no longer going out of the game so the number of whips in circulation is only increasing.

Rapier is the new whip. They aren't going back up.

Perfect timing for me, i got cleaned about 1 week ago, so im looking forward to making money back.

Inb4 the boost to whips str and attack makes it as good as a chaotic rapier making all my dging thus far worthless.

Most likely whips will only be at an increased price for the weeks leading up to the update and maybe a week or so after the update, depending on how good this update makes whips.

With 85 atk and 80 slayer as a req, it should be atleast as good as rapier.
