for the longest time i have been wondering how to get my magic up, i want to get it to around level 95 and its level 70 right now, i know high alching is one of the best but i don't know what the best item or items are to alch, what items should be alched to either gain money or loose minimum profit?

As you can see there are numerous items that have slight profits ranging from 5 coins to 1.2k but the GE limits on most of them allow for only 100 every 4 hours. Personally I think you should just go with magic longbows it only costs -9 per alch so 100k alches would only cost 900k. The GE buy limit on them is good too.

And Hunter kit / string jewelry method nets 240k xp an hour, high alching alone 78k and high alching stun 170k.

Superheat gold while mining in lrc is one of the most efficient ways. Hunter kits and string jewelry together is good too. I can't remember the Mage requirements for string jewelry and hunter kits though, so it may not apply to you yet.

And once you hit 86, do Plank Make, it's 160k exp/hour and it profits a bit too :D

Only ever high alch if you are a pure without access to lunar incredibly poor - sub 70 magic or if you are just waiting to do something else even then your time will be better spent fletching. As to other methods string jewellery once you are at 80 is incredibly nice because it so AFK you click one button once for a whole inventory. If you haven't got a high summoning though and you aren't seriously strapped for cash I would recommend training your magic at rock lobsters instead.

Alchemy spells (low, high and superheat) are the most efficient way to get 99 magic if you use them right, but if you use them wrong way they are very inefficient. Superheat should only ever be cast on gold ore wearing goldsmithing gauntlets (109.2 xp per cast, 56.2 smithing and 53 magic). You can either mine the ore from a concentrated rock and superheat at the same time (superheating will not interrupt mining), dropping the bars, or stand at Soul Wars and superheat bought gold. Either way, it's a good way to get magic and smithing xp (and mining).

Low alchemy is good at places where you'd normally have to drop a lot of items, such as barbarian fishing, gold mining (if not superheating) and chopping teaks without juju potions/adze. High alchemy is good in the same situations but since it takes more time you can't get rid of the same amount of resources.

All in all, alchemy is mainly about getting xp without taking extra time. It's not a fast way to get levels, but you will get there on the way to 99 mining, smithing, woodcutting and fishing.
