April 30, 201214 yr Three of my grandparents were dead before I was born, was never that close to most of the "other" relatives, so the only relative deaths I feel remotely sad for are those of my pets. Am I weird? Because I already know I was highly schizoid to begin with... mumble mumble something about everyone being weird, what is weird, mumble mumble... Honestly though, not feeling sad for the death of people you aren't close to or don't really know isn't weird. It seems normal that you'd feel more sad for your pets then relatives you hardly knew, or didn't even know at all. It's also normal to feel like it's wrong to feel that way lol, since objectively a pet's life should be worth less then a human's life.
