Use Torment and Soul Split (and berserker with potions) as your prayers

Just let the unstable glacyte hit you with its explosions and let the glacor hit you with the large spike thing in order to keep your prayer up. You shouldn't have any issues keeping your LP above 1k as the glacor's max hit is only like 100 with either mage or ranged while wearing elite void. The glacytes have a max closer to 600 lp from my experience.

 

 

 

 

Void is absolutely wonderful from my experience with it in the EoC as it gives a hefty prayer bonus, it defends against all 3 combat styles, and it gives a boost to your dps unlike any other armor out there.

@Zaaps: I waited too long to buy it and a bunch of websites had no stock; I got it at amazon for 1175 (used - like new) still in box etc, of which I paid 500, my aunt matched me to 500 and my mother gave the other 200ish as a birthday gift. I could have maybe found cheaper somehow but I wanted it delivered before I left for school again so w/e.

I seem to have lost all desire to log on for dailies/pengs/what have you. That's interesting. Still want to finish my goals though.

Is royal xbow worth it? I don't have the tokens for multiple chaotics, and my best ranged weapon at the moment is a crystal bow.

I think it's quite worth it, hefty 2h crossbow at tier 80 that gets the 2h bonus when using abilities. Much better than forking out 150M for a Zaryte.

ABS is only 30 hit bonus worse and is FREE AIR RUNES and also for people who might not want to buy CS because an update next month might completely invalidate them.

It is better than ABS, but I don't have a CS. Same with Ragefire boots or Dragon Rider boots, but I don't have those.

 

 

 

 

My only issue with the Royal xbow is the fact that I have never done qbd before, and it might take a lot of work to actually get to the 4th phase for me to brandish it every 6-10 hours.

Player Owned Ports, set for a December release, is supposed to bring out gear that goes all the way up to level 99. Any staff within that range would make CS pointless :P

Nevermind, I forgot that levels and weapon power are now completely correlated and there's no accuracy/magic damage % discretion.

Player Owned Ports sound neat. I hope I can access some/most of it with my mediocre stats (2324, almost 90+ all, only 3 99+s though). The more I think about it PoP sounds a lot like managing thy kingdom crossed with a facebook game.

I'm liking the eoc so far, but jagex honestly needs to increase the difficulty of some bosses, considering solo zgwd is now for me c-z-1-2-1-z-3-1-4-z-1-5-1-z-2-1-3-z-q-w and it's dead most of the time.

What annoys me most is constant tweaking and completely changing the direction and uses of items. Penance now completely removes the need for prayer potions, soul split and healing abilities make food pointless, armour keeps being tweaked from overpowered to useless and back.. just urgh.

 

If the 150% xp in december is legitimate then that's kind of sad, but I guess ill try to hammer out 90 hunter/thieving in that time.

Why is that I draw infinitely better (and cleaner) with a pen than a pencil? If I could erase the pen bit, maybe my skeletal structures would be less awkward to construct... and far less smears. >_>

 

I should just get around to purchasing fingerless gloves that are comfortable to avoid the smearing issue... if any of them I could buy in my area were comfortable.
