Steel titan, ranged switches only. Which leaves space for 9? brew flasks or so + eee... should be enough. Next time I'm actually reading a guide on where to stand for wave 26 and 27 because I messed up badly there >.>.

For wave 26, melee the 200 ranger. Then hug the two 300 meleers around the 400 mage. Mage the meleers and range the mage.

 

For wave 27, melee the 200 ranger. The 400 mage will be stuck in the north-east part of the map. Stay to the north-west so it can't attack you. Mage the 300 meleers before ranging the 400 mage.

Thanks :). Got to bring melee next time as well, might speed up waves 1-9 up enough as well, saving prayer/health. Perhaps a bcp switch along with acp for the ranged defence, not sure.

Not really imo, if you want ranged dps you should just use void or rigour or something.

But swift gloves are only a tiny dps boost, I'm sure void deflector w/ goliaths and tribriding is better dps than ganodermic+Armadyl+Bandos and swift+goliath+helmet scrolls. Its defence is (too) low. Plus I'm not convinced another switch is really worth it.

Void's defence isn't much of a problem if you know how to lure the monsters. I don't know if it's better DPS than normal armor with helmet scrolls. I doubt it.

Easy to work out, how many helmet scrolls do you use in one run? I used about 60? I think in 50 minutes, if you take 1.2 per minute average that's about 500 lp worth of damage? So if void offers a dps boost of 500 lp per minute at least, it's worth it.

 

The amount of damage you have to do per Kiln run is fixed so you can work out exactly what the % ranged/mage/melee damage is and how void affects that :P.

No idea how many scrolls I use. I'll pay attention to it the next time.

If I remember, I'll have a look into the total health of all monsters, to compare most used attack styles? (Damage wise, I'll assume 'nips and titan for armadillos?)

I'm assuming no titan for other monsters, no idea what % of damange it does. I'd assume 25% of range damage, 10% melee, 5% range if I had to though?

I was mainly factoring that mage and melee have (far?) higher dps, so titan probably doesn't do as much as it would on 360s.

Is it known what the Jads are weak to yet? Forgot to mention those. Pobably about even in all defenses I think, making mage the best for ease of use? :lol:

 

Knowing me, I proably won't end up even doing this anyway. :lol: Also need sleep soon. What kiln setup would you reccomend for a nub without a yak, but with pony, C rapier, turmoil, overloads, and access to pretty much all non-nex gear? I was thinking Gano w/ acp and bandos switch, Veracs helm (idk) fury/ stream, dbewts, barrows gloves, arcane ss, 8 rest flasks, Tort of spare + spare tort and pony + scrolls

Rap, Karils bow, Arma staff for weps, eee spec of course.

I think jad's weakness depends on what monsters you have fought since the last cutscene where the tokhaar guy introduces the new wave of monsters. For example, the wave 10 jad would be weak to melee. The wave 20 jad to range. The wave 30 jad to mage. I don't know about the rest. Oddly enough, all melee and range damage (with the exception of familiars and dreads) is reduced but mage isn't.
