August 17, 201114 yr I have been away from runescape from the past year, and moved on to games such as wow and starcraft. What is the current state of RS? (i left roughly around free trade since i knew the game was going to go downhill afterwards) i log in a few times to keep in touch with friends and such, but have no real desire anymore because of the large amounts of bots playing nowadays. It's pretty hard to make money with skills, and i have no time to do PVM or PVP. Is the game overrun with bots? If anyone could explain to me any important events that have happened lately or such it would be greatly appreciated as i do feel like im missing out on the recent parts of this game :)
August 17, 201114 yr Not too much happened since free trade. Bots are everywhere, most resources have crashed because of them. If you go to TzHaar you can see one of the worst, if not THE worst, places that has been taken over by bots. Theres like 10 bots per 1 monster... That's all I can think of.

August 17, 201114 yr First and foremost is the free trading re-introduced in Feb 2011. Clan support including capes, citadels, and banners. Massive return of the inevitableincluding bots, scammers, and GE spammers. Everything else is minor. Just read the BTS at the homepage.
August 17, 201114 yr Clans are the new big thing now, other than new clan things and capes, not much has changed. There is a new d&d and membership point things but if your f2p it hardly matters.

August 17, 201114 yr Clans may be worth it if you join with a few friends. That's the only real reason to join a clan.Also, temple trekking got a rework today, so it might be worth looking into if your p2p.
