I'm considering going for a firecape tonight except I've never done it before. I'll be using my pure so Im wondering is there a guide for pures (or in general), what should I use etc?

Mage = 70

Def = 1

Str = 45

Attack = 50

HP = 490 / 49

Pray = 43

You should try DGS. I hear they are very accepting to pures and low level dungeoneers.

If you're talking about us in EoE, you just need to stay in chat more. I've seen you on all of 3 times when i've been logging in religiously over the last week. We do low level floors, just not as much as abds/occults. You can't expect to go from furnishes to occults in a day. The exp really speeds up in the 60s as that's when you start getting abds, which we do quite frequently.

 

With that aside, the best way to go is to use normal methods that mains would use. Except be extra cautious about getting in melee range of things. Also, be sure to quickly find safe spots from the rangers. With your low defense they'll tear through you.

 

Take it slow and easy. And if you fail, try try again. The best advice i can give for anyone going for the cape.

honestly i struggle at 90defence with bandos lol.

I would get black dragonhide chaps and a rune cross bow and range stuff. change prayers accordingly. dg more.

It's possible to do, but 90% sure you won't get it on your first try. Even with higher defence the rangers rip through me, and i would advise getting some sort of god book such as guthix/law (as mentioned above) which are both substantially cheaper than the unholy pages. If you do intend to do this, prepare to pay a good chunk of GP for supplies.

It's pretty easy; I got it on my level 53 pure. Just youtube 1 def fire cape guide; there's a ton of them.
