Quyneax
I don't see why they would go up. Loads of no-cannon slayers consider abyssal demons decent experience in Kuradal's dungeon. swagcake
hmm...do you think they will crash even more, or what price do you think they will stabilize at? Go Chicago Bears! All_Is_Great
They will keep crashing when ppl like me and others keep selling the whips we pk for <med.
Powerfrog
They started crashing so hard because people bought them out in anticipation for the vine whip, which of course sucked and left all these people with far too many whips and no demand for them. So they started selling low and no one buyed. With the effectivness of chaotic weapons and the ease of aquiring them (especially with dungeoneering bots) the whip is becoming more and more of medium risk pk only weapon and that demand simply won't be enough to outweight the supply from slayers as the whips never actually leave the game, they're just transfered from one pker to the next, who will immediatley sell it for whatever price they can, which will not be a lot. It will probably raise a few 100k soon and then continue to slowly drop again.
swagcake
do you think i should sell mine now? Go Chicago Bears! n64jive
I'm actually shocked it took this long for them to crash. Sure 80 dung isn't the easiest task. I heard that the main bot that bots dungeoneering actually can dungeoneer better than humans(because it remembers which enemies are weak to what, and it can solve puzzles using complex algorithms). I've also heard the developer has made more then $250,000 from the bot. I don't know how old he is, nor do I care to do the research, but that is a pretty good chunk for a job that requires little to no education. As a senior in Computer Engineering, I am pretty impressed.

I mean there are obvious boundaries like it won't go for less then it's high alch price and things like that but there's no telling how much prices will drop. Wessan
It will probably continue to go down over time. It will have ups and downs, but everything usually stabilizes around High Alch value, which is what it will eventually do.

Well, it means that roughly 20kish of the active users on at any moment are likely dung bots. Or on average, maybe about 2/3rds of that number. That is one single bot, that people are willing to pay money for. So it does have some relevance. As for the prices dropping. Supply and demand. Obviously supply is really never going down, and as more and more people see less need for a whip as more people are able to use chaotics, the demand for the whip should fall. On the other side of the argument is the fact that many of these gold farmers are semi low level accounts that are created at a fast rate, meaning they don't waste the 3-4weeks it takes to get 80 dung. They are likely one means of keeping the price stable, as they will always produce demand for the whip.
