I used to get a lot of popups but I don't anymore. It's weird. Maybe Chrome fixed it?

 

I personally donated like $5 or something when I had extra money in my Paypal account a few years back.

Mine is only able to block gifs from slowing down my computer.

Tip.it has popups? Most I've seen is the banner ad next to the logo.

Tipit has popups. If you use Mozilla or chrome, you'll sometimes see the message above your browser indicating that it blocked a popup from opening.

I get those every time I enter tipit mainsite.

Google Chrome seems to block those pop-ups for me. However, if I use Internet Explorer, I do see them sometimes.

I don't think our ads are that bad :P I can totally and 100% understand how the popups have been annoying (at least when there was a period where it was impossible to block them), but otherwise we only have one regular-sized advert on each page. I've seen other sites where there are adverts like smack dab in the middle of the page, covering up text and everything, and adverts that are entire background images, etc. :/

Yes, the pop ups I get aren't that bad and tend to be the same thing every time and don't try to leave any malware or anything.

 

If that's all there is, I'll happily donate many bags of sour Skittles to keep it that way. :thumbup:

Tip.it's Ads are best ads because they don't bother you. I have not gotten any popup

Interesting. I've never seen a pop-up or an advertisement in my last three years of using these forums. \o/ The first year, I had a lot of those though. Once I got ad block plus, I never saw an ad again. Funny thing is, I think there's a RuneScape rule that forbids you from using ad blocker when playing RS. Never been punished for breaking that rule, and I've been playing ad-free for maybe four years.

 

OT: Have I ever donated? No. Do I plan to? Not now. In the future? Maybe. :P
