Unknown_Warrior
So, I resubscribed early September. Sold a lot of stuff to fund 95 Prayer, under the assumption that I would make the money back.Well, it's not going all that well as I thought it would be.Early (that is, up to 6 months ago), I made most of my money by doing herb runs, daily profit runs and RC'ing. Now that both herbs and runes are cheaper than dirt, I find it very hard to make money. Add to that everything using the recharging method now (eg: Rapier), it seems once I do recover it's taken away from me again. I'm kinda stumped on what to do to get money nowadays. I'm not all that interested in boss hunting nor in flipping. Is it even possible anymore? Dragon Drops : 5 Dragon Medium Helmets, 3 Dragon Claws, 3 Dragon platelegs, 2 Dragon plateskirts, 2 Dragon Hatchets, 2 Dragon Spears, 7 pairs of Dragon Boots, 1 Dragon pickaxe, 10 Dragon defenders, 3 Dragon 2h swords, 1 Dragon armour Slice, 1 Dragon armour Lump, 1 Dragon chainbody, 1 Dragon kiteshield, 1 Dragon hasta, 1 Dragon ward, 25 Dragon knives pairsThe Warrior's Blog , Herblore Habitat - Efficient and profitable[hide=Stats and logs].:Adventurer's Log:.[/hide]
Sir_Squab
Um, barrows/glacors/TDs are the only good money makers I can think of that you didn't mention. The rest are infested with bots. Although I'd generally classify barrows/glacors/TDs under bosses tbh. MH'ing, Monster Hunting is technically the correct term for it. Squab unleashes Megiddo! Quyneax
With your magic level, turmoil and rapier you can hunt glacors quite well. That'd be good profit if you get 100 shards or a boot drop (boots aren't too uncommon, comparable to claws). Individual shards are ~360k gp at 99 runecrafting. Read the tip.it guide on glacors :). Powerfrog
Well you seem to have a lot of quest points so TD's and Glacors aren't out of reach. Other than that, boss! Bossing is fun and great profit, i don't see why you'd not want to do it. It's not great profit at all, but killing waterfiends for their crimson charms and getting 96 summoning may be in your best interests, seeing as you're fairly close already. (And it's rather nice melee experience too, which you could do with)

I've only had 1 pair of boots in 840 kills now. I've heard of other people having similar luck with 1 pair in ~1000 kills. The only thing that makes Glacors better is the fact that they drop shards. It make's it a semi-stable/constant money maker, but then again you could have bad luck on them too.
Sir_Squab
If you have bad luck on 1/10 drops, then just kill something with a 100% drop rate. Squab unleashes Megiddo! I've heard people getting dry streaks and I've heard people getting boots by the dozen. You can't base it off two or three people of course. If the prices of boots and the staff are anything to judge by, 1/500 would seem to make sense compared to the price of the boots, but I'm not convinced they are that rare just yet.
