Im going to attempt to play catch up on my flinger tickets tonight. Hopefully i finish them so i can knock out more hard mode floors.

That fish flingers luck?! Two tickets within 5 catches of each other. I'm almost sure it was 3.

 

I decided to raid the quest reworks (druidic ritual and wolf whistle) for TH keys so i am now officially up to code with quests complete.

 

 

I also got 20m fishing xp from fish flingers.

 

Professional tackle box gained... i really aint looking forward to getting the champs tackle box.

 

 

I also finished all my hard mode abandon 2 floors.

Sorry for no pictures, but all floors, but warped done. I also learned a few days back i need to refight all kalgerion demons to get their drops. Im glad there wasnt much of an attempt on them since release.

 

So far just need kal'ger beat. After i do my hard modes im going to keep pushing through fish flingers and work on kal'gerion demons.

I got to phase 2 with araxxor, but he somehow instakilled me. That was path 2 as well.

 

I just did my second attempt and got through ph2 on p1 after killing all the spiders. I'm thinking I should just kill half them.

 

third attempt I made the effort to burn the web at the start. I think this phase was meant to be an intro to the beginning mechanics. Once you burn the wen stick to path 1, kill all 20 spiders and sacks, then lead on to phase 3. Trying to pick out the acidic spiders out of the crowd of others is a pain.

Seems with araxxor brewscape lives!

By the sound of it going through path 2 might work nicely and get rid of the acid stuff early. Also having a bigger area to deal with the minions in p3 isn't bad. I'm stuck myself, got to p4 twice but with basically no food :( must buy all the brews.

 

Also wondering about leaving a few of the egg pods, he gets way too enraged :(

Rolled a rare 20 totem of wisdoms last night.

Jumped on the araxxi band wagon and finally scored some kills. I failed by first 4 times on release, but since then I've killed her for 2 onyx, 40 runite and 113 onyx bolts in order. First kill picture:

How do i make them faster? I like doing path 1 becuase it feels like the QBD in a way.

After an eternity of deaths i killed araxxor again on middle. Plan to camp middle and bottom for pieces.

 

I found an amazing trick... use bews only for p1-3 then rocks for p4. I also use revolution. I have anticipation, freedom, debilitate on 1-3. Before hitting 25-30k hp i switch out deaths swiftness for unload. Im considering bringing vengeful to boost debilitate.

Would you say unload is better than deadshot?

unload is better in swiftness, deadshot is better out of swiftness iirc.

The wiki has a nice suggestion of using swiftness at 45k lp, using adr pot and then using unload at 100% adr.

 

I am getting so obsessed with araxxor its annoying me. Those ko spiders are annoying me.

Honestly another great tip for those doing araxxi. You should focus on just hitting and biding your time for sub 30k lp to spam unload. You can get by clicking to eat and using two fingers to pray switch (slowly flashing for mage) using the number keys. If you have brews left then a quick roll of two fingers eats and drinks. There is a bit of a learning curve for you if you can manage that.

my dps rotation is to have swiftness out, rapid fire at 26k, and then to adren pot, binding shot, and needle strike going into snap shot.  works great
