This is a hassle for anyone who wishes to log in manually each time. My suggestion is simple. Please keep the remember me option unchecked until clicked on by the user, rather than having it checked by default and having the user uncheck it each time that they want to log in. Just a simple suggestion that would help some people who have shared computers or just don't want the remember me option checked for any reason (for me it's mostly I like to have it unchecked so I get used to new passwords, and forgetting to uncheck the remember me makes me sometimes forget what my pass was XD). The impact on normal users should be minimal since they would only have to click remember me once to have it save their log in.
