Glacors, am i doing something wrong?

Isn't the average supposed to be 40-50kills an hour? This is my setup:

I use a large piece of cave wall/rock to avoid the glacors, there's one on each side of it, it takes about a second or two to get behind cover and pull out the rapier on the glacytes. Turning on turmoil and ss flashing if I need to, I kill the sapping first, then the enduring and finally the unstable. I don't use any summons, as ss is enough for healing and I dont think an elemental titan would help much combatwise..

Any ideas on how I could improve my kills phour?

Stop spending time luring it behind the rocks, just pray switch while fighting the glacytes, you will need to take more prayer potions though. If you have the charms for 95/99 summoning then an iron/steel titan will help.

While I'm not 100% sure on the shield/top/glove slots, I can say that a chaotic staff would add 5% magic damage, though you might not think it's worth the tokens/increased costs.

I'm not entirely sure that he'd need more prayer potions. I kill the glacytes while pray switching with the glacor attacking me and I can last for four overloads using 6 and a half prayer potions (I bring 7 and usually have 2-3 doses of the 7th potion left at the end of a trip).

Probably, I'm not 100% sure on how those new prayer potions work, was just thinking that he'd have to use more if now praying against the glacor, but if he was praying deflect melee on the glacytes anyway then there'd be no change.

His set up is pretty much the same as mine, I just bring one more overload, one more prayer renewal, and one more prayer potion. I think he'll probably be fine with what he has.

As for kills per hour, I'm not sure what you could do to increase it other than not bothering with hiding behind the rocks. I mage the whole time and I manage 38-44 kills per hour. Maybe try to attack the next glacor after killing one a bit faster. I'm not sure how quickly you loot your kill and move on to the next, but that could be something that is affecting your kills/hour.

Yeah only thing you could really do to improve your K/H is to not bother "luring" them behind a wall/rock. Just prayer switch when needed. You've got 99 Def so the damage you take from Glacytes will be minimal. Since you don't have a Steel Titan and you're not using SoA, i think without luring the Glacytes 38 - 44 should be around par.

CSB and cstaff would increase kph, otherwise I think that's pretty much the most efficient setup at your stats.

bank made, also that's some nice blues and effigies ;o

Effigies, yes. As for the blues, it seems a bit low. I usually average 45 blues an hour or so. My hour and 20 minute trips usually end with 60 blues and 60 crimsons, give or take a few.

Wow are shard drops really that uncommon to only get 2 in an hour?

They'er about a 1/8 drop with RoW, 1/10 without. It's not uncommon to go ~30 - 40 kills without any shards at all, but you'll probably get a b2b drop or two the next trip.
