What's up guys, I'm new to these forums as I just stumbled upon them today when checking how much money I would make going from 80 to 85 mining. I noticed how much activity these forums get, and I figured that comments, competition, and such could be just the motivations I need when the going gets tough in RuneScape. I am currently in a pretty relaxed state as far as this game goes, but I just decided on getting my next 99, and that means that I could lose motivation to play the game the more I grind.

 

Here's a picture of my current stats, along with my most recent level!

 

 

 

My current goals are 85 Mining and probably 85 Farming (it has been at 80 for like a month). Hopefully I can get them both by the end of November. Following that, I'm probably going to slay a lot so I can get the charms for 73 or hopefully 83 Summoning, and then continue on to 99 Mining. 99 Farming has also been a goal of mine for quite some time, but I currently cannot afford it. I will try to work in herb runs (which are hopefully going to become more profitable in the near future), and will probably try to get 74 hunter soon so I can get farming juju potions. Along with the money I'll make from Mining, I will hopefully be able to scrape the cash together for 99 Farming.

 

I will update this as I gain levels hopefully, and definitely at major milestones!

Thanks all! I am indeed currently at LRC. Wondering if mining juju potions would be worth getting. Can anyone attest to their usefulness, and are they worth it?

 

Also, I got 81 mining earlier today, and am about 3.5 hours from 82. I will also get 81 farming later tonight when I make my farming run :D

I definitely need to. Should probably try to get most of them into the 80s if possible. Right now though it's mineminemine. I'll probably work on 74 hunter this week a bit, and hopefully next week as well, as I really want those farming juju potions. Also in my future (most likely after 99 mining) is runecrafting work (for double astrals) as well as some dungeoneering, probably.

Better go get some Spirit tree seeds

Forgot to screenie, but I got 91 a few hours ago, and I just broke 6m exp :) Hopefully 92 by Thursday!

 

Also I only have 3 effigies but I think two of them are Mine/Smith ones, one 91 and the other 93 (got lucky with a starved thieving effigy), so I will open those when I get the chance.

 

It's interesting how it's only 15k exp and yet that's like 20 minutes of mining cut out, so it's like a huge chunk of time, lol.

Nice blog! As for juju pots, I'd definitely recommend them (see that 38 herb run? With juju, you'll get 38 from 5 patches on a really really bad day :P start looking forward to constant 45+ :P). If you superheat gold ores (which is great magic xp + smith xp on top of the mining xp you're already getting), and dropping the ores rather than banking, the pots take a lot of stress off your hands. Anyhow, juju mining is samaden + draconics and if you're training hunter in the future, dracs are the best xp in the game already so think of the potion as icing on the cake.

I think I have both 80 firemaking and 80 construction banked, so on that front it's only a matter of putting in the time. Most of these skills I can probably get to 80 in about a month, so after I finish up with mining, I might start working on that. 82 runecrafting is also my most immediate goal after 99 mining, so I'll be working on that as well.

 

I'm not too worried, I feel like if I can accomplish 99 mining then all those other lowly goals will be a piece of cake :)

Thanks, I'll definitely take that into consideration. Seeing as how I'm so close to 99 mining and that's really the one thing I'm focused on right now, I might not hunt up to the levels I need before I get 99 mining, but this definitely helps me put things in a different perspective...

I'll be leaving the country for winter vacation this Saturday, and my goal was to have 95 mining by the time I left, but it looks like unless I can put up incredible numbers (like, 10 hours of mining a day numbers), 95 is going to be out of reach. Oh well, if I can average 200-250k mining experience each day that I play RS, I should be in good shape. My goal is to have 99 mining by the end of January, and by a calculation I ran a couple weeks ago, I should get it done with time to spare :D
