Gaffaz11
So, I've recently received a large sum of money from boss killing, and I was wondering, now that I have a pretty big cash pile, is there any method unlocked to me to make money now that I have a cash pile? JeRambo
Flipping? ..OR just keep bossing. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." Quyneax
Merchanting basically. Buy stuff cheap and sell it high - it's harder than that but easier than real life stock trading :P. Gaffaz11
Will do! I've already bought all the gear I want and still have a heap left over. Merchanting it is!
JeRambo
Could buy turmoil and a few more herblore levels. =) "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. Gaffaz11
That's true, but 92 herb is completely fine for me. I was thinking about getting turmoil once I had made money back from merchanting
stormveritas
The real allure to merchanting is that it is a self-propagating element. You can buy en masse and continue to grow your cash pile by similarly proportionate degrees, so a true master could have limitless cash. There are of course increased risks as the stakes get higher, but the exorbitantly wealthy can influence the price of uncommon items with their individual buying/selling actions. It's a flaw inherent to Jagex's exchange system, but I don't believe there's anything illegal about it.
Powerfrog
Depends how much money we're talking about here. I personally have about 150m and i've spent about 70m on gear such as bandos fury claws, 10m for stuff like cannonballs and pots, and the other 70m is for medium term investments. (1-5 days) That i usually expect to make 4-5m profit from. Flipping is faster cash but requires almost constantly being at the GE, and i like to train and boss kill without worrying about my offers. If i had 2b it would be a different story. I'd flip all day because it is vastly better cash than anything else in the game.
The_Fray
Another thing the 4 hour cooling period for buying and selling items is now gone, so flipping has become so much easier that anyone can do it.
