Exactly what I said. Ever since the "graphics update" I haven't been able to play at all. It pretty much kills my eyes and brains trying to watch those icons made after watching some 5 minute Photoshop tutorial from Youtube.

Also in the chatbox, you can't see the most recent private message because that stupid arrow is in the way.

And the font is so bright it kills my eyes too.

 

And one last thing, stop making the game easier! Don't give us toolbelts or moneypouches or shit, why don't we have to have any effort on this game anymore? Why is everyone gives to use for free?

I bet soon we can all receive like free 100k per day from GE if we are members. No longer do we have to worry about money since it's always with us.

 

Dying has become a joke. It used to be so that you went hunting some strong bosses or monsters, you were risking something in exchange of profit. Now it's just "don't worry you can take it all it's not fun losing stuff please have all the cool stuff like money back for free and don't worry we got your expensive gear waiting about 2 hours for you to come back and get it". I don't like it.

I had faith in Jagex after the botbusting. I thought it would rise again, but no, a big disappointment. I was just having the best time on RS for a long time. Everything was going well, I had decent profits, good xp rates and a cool little community in our fc. Then came that graphics update and I haven't played since. I just hate it that much >_>

I want to play, but I can't for such a dumb thing.

RuneScape DOES let you change the graphics settings, if yu don't like them, just mak them to what you find comfortable...

Toolbelt and pouch are just making things more convenient and enjoyable for everyone. You yourself said you haven't played the game since the recent update, so why are you judging an update you haven't even tried. The toolbelt and pouch have just alleviated some of the most annoying aspects of Runescape. The amount of tools needed to be carried around was excessive, and this update changed that. They haven't increased experience rate and merely reduced aggravation.

If you want to complain about the tools, complain about how they were poorly implemented. People like convenience. Although dying is a joke, I much prefer it to the "only keep 3 items system" which can really, really hurt people. PVP is different because don't depend on an RNG for drops and the thrill of potentially taking another player's items, not to mention the fact that facing an actual human being is quite different from facing a CPU, because honestly all CPUs get fairly predictable and grindy after a while. PVP is not considered griny and definitely not predictable.

 

I wouldn't mind a bigger punishment for dying; I've always thought that having to replace your gravestone EVERY time you die could work. Really inconvenient and you have to pay a fair amount.

 

Of course, that's only if you go with 500k gravestones, and given current timers and such players would just start using the 50k ones....

 

Its funny no matter how good the update is - tool belts, People will still complain. Its not like it made the game any quicker or easier, Unless you count the annoying process of forgetting a simple tool and having to run all the way back. Who misses that? Anyone?

The arrow problem was fixed about two weeks ago. You know, fixed mode is exactly like the version before the update if you want to play it... If you do not like the toolbelts or money pouches, then simply don't use them.

I honestly love the new graphics. It is good to have change. I hated how boring the old graphics were.

I agree with your points people, but not everything should be "convenient". For 10 years we had to take that spade with us whenever we wanted to dig stuff, now you can just take everything without worrying about it. It's a really small thing that doesn't matter but it changes something that has always been here.

I know I am a bit "The old rs was the best" kind of a person, but some of Graphics here suck now.
