Just about to checkout the update. I seen the question about banning and they must have. First time on today and runetrack says I gained 93k ranks at 72 strength. Massive ranks in every other skill as well.

Falador & Yanille for towns. I remember years ago POHs were planned in Falador. I used to try and use the overview map to peek even had the house all planned out that I wanted to buy. Brings back a lot of memories. I also spent a lot of time there in my early days. Yanille brings back a lot of memories as well. I used to range blue dragons just south of there a lot on my way to 99 range. It has the magic guild as well. I remember when I could finally access it, I was so excited. Theres a few other places as well.

Im sure theyre will always be high levels who risk botting as long as theres a way but i bet theres many more that dont. I gained a decent chunk of ranks. keep up the good work Jagex. =D

Hey all, I started collecting rocks recently in an attempt to even out my skills a tiny because they were becoming way too seperated. In doing this I achieved 70+ all skill total. (The highest I'll be able to reach for a long while as I currently have no plans to train attack and strength :P) I plan to continue on with rocks and other then that I hope to eventually get 99 slayer/summon and maybe crafting later in this year. That'd be nice. Anyways just let me know what you think, heres a runetrack screenshot of the same as below.

I fully believe the f2p community will remain f2p if Jagex did the trial or not. It would just give them more reasons not to pay. As for new members, I'm not sure they would notice as for a new f2p player there sure is quite a bit of content to do. Seems unneeded and just a bonus for the long term f2pers.

Why does Jagex need to charge for that service? I think its fair for the higher level players names to be reserved to stop some choob from destroying their rep. I'm not a totally high player but if I ever changed my name I would create a noob account with the same in order to stop someone from using it. Ive been using it for 10 years + so the thought of someone else using it seems odd to me.

I never seen item flipping as a planned money making methods. Its leaps and bounds away from the merchents of old annnd I can't say I feel bad for you. At all.

That would be fair and I hope you're right. :) Would be upsetting to see the old famous names being taken by randoms.

Why does someone deserve something for free when others pay for it? I mean heck, If we're focusing on giving people p2p content for free why should I continue to pay? Jagex is a company, an increase in a pure f2p community doesn't help them very much does it?

I disagree with this in the sense I don't believe they should have removed account names on accounts of say over 1k total. I know personally, I would be livid if I came back in 2010 and some choob stole my name. Also if I see an Old Nite or Alchemon wondering around, I think I'd be equally bothered. When it comes down to it, I never had an issue coming up with an orignal name. Then again if you wanna create toppk23 because you can't be orignal, that isn't my issue.

I named mine Guthix Raptor for now, although I may change its name later. =)

I don't think anyone should judge anyone else's playing style to be honest. Who are you to judge how someone else plays or their personality based off of that? Sure there are large ego pures but theres also level threes or skillers with egos to match.

F2P has 100s of hours of entertainment for free, its still a free game. If you use up all that content and decide you would rather not unlock future content, that is your choice. Jagex doesn't owe it to you free updates. They're a company. It also shows how good of a game that they produce that so many people still include time in their day to rant on about how another game is so much better. If I found a game I enjoyed more, I wouldn't return.

I havent tried the new re-work yet to be honest. Havent trained smithing since I realised it had no real use. Even now Ill eventually only get it up to improve my skill total when I have money to waste. It would be nice for a proper re-work that made me wanna train it. Not something super flashy but something better then runite plate for achieving 99. I mean if you compare that to some other high level benefits its a joke. Even something between dragon and barrows would be better. I really like the idea of untradeable content like herb has but not sure how it would fit in. Also maybe they could clear out some of the unneeded content at mid levels to make way. I mean I cant remember the last time I went out smithing iron bars, for example.
