  1. Why has this not been said before?
  2. Im going to do a super quick tree run and then hit up some agility for the rest of it. With the pools Ill hopefully never need another crafting assist again. ;)
  3. Why would you be friends with a botter? Gross. On either note, I don't think Jagex even really bans bots anymore. As long as they pay their monthly fees they don't seem to care like they used to. If they did they could take action against the sites ran by the creaters couldnt they?
  4. Slayer and farming I really enjoy. I also like the magic skill quite a lot, i almost never grind my magic exp. Construction is pretty aswesome too but i dont really enjoy training it atm.
  5. Explorer (73%) Achievers (67%) have been there, done that and have the t-shirt...in fact they have a plethora of t-shirts, badges, trophies and other rewards. EAs are the completionists of the gamer world. They like to find new places, quests, easter eggs, unlocks, maps etc. and check them off as have, visited or beaten. Like real world travelers, EAs enjoy collecting memorabilia that helps them relive their experiences later.
  6. Tree run then herb. After that Ill prob level con and to finish up either agility or slayer. Nothing that hasn't been said before.
  7. If I get something for free I'm thankful. You should be as well.
  8. Does runescape need weapons better then chaotic? The answer is, no.
  9. Hopefully double xp flops and Fnord gets fired. Stupid idea.
  10. Congrats to him, although I can't say it demands my respect that he put so much time so quickly it is rather neat and the emote is awesome.
  11. Can anyone explain to me exactly why they feel the rewards from dung should be easily replaceable? Why should they be different from any other item you can die with? I get the fact its time invested but your xp stays the same, and any item is time invested.
  12. How about you don't bring more then you can lose? The fact that you think it should be returned if you die doing something silly is insane. It is NOT an ability. Its a weapon, just like any other sword. You just use tokens to buy it instead of gp. You do realise you need to spend time making the gp too, right? And if you lose your blue phat, nobodys giving you a 50% discount because you had one before. Also seeing how the chaotic weapons are so powerful if people could just get them back super easy wouldn't it destroy pvp for those whom don't have one? Side note: You don't lose dung exp when you die with a reward, you lose the reward just like you would most other d&d, minigame or anything you may have on your avatar.

I don't understand how the time you signed up for tip forums matters at all. This was made in 06 but I have an account under my old noobs name from 04 and I was around for the old forums as well. It doesn't mean anything. I don't like the idea of a double exp weekend because its pushing the game to be easier and easier. How easy do you really want it? I plan to take part though because in my eyes it would be silly of me to miss out on something and allow everyone else to pass me by. I just wish it wasnt happening.
  14. Hey all. I've been playing on and off for many years now and ever since i started pretty much I've been collecting random things. Most of the stuff I've collected myself and some things I had to simply because they were untradeable. Currently I collect brown fremmy shirts, white fruits and suaqh teeth. What do you collect?
  15. I find both can be fun depending on my mood. I love fishing and getting to 99 was one of the best memories i have of rs. Although now I've been stuck on a slayer kick.
  16. -Getting my yo-yo and bunny ears after Jagex made holiday drops non-tradeable. -Starting this account as a Necromancer. (Evil magic, fear and all that.) -On my level 10 mage pker pk'ed a lvl 12 in full adamite outside of lumby cow patch. -Everdred getting the first ever 99 (woodcutting) and Bluerose giving him a runite hatchet. -Old style pking and pkers. Wolf really stands out in my mind among others. -The fishing skill coming out and how it would ruin cooking. -Looking from the Varrock church at the 'pohs'. Soon to come. ;) -The line-ups for dragon slayer when it first came out. -Runite full helms > Party hats -When the highscores showed the highest levelled person currently online on that server. -Bluerose free-smithing adamite when others started to catch her level. ..I could go on forever. :P
  17. I think it really depends on what skills you enjoy. For me it would be runecrafting as I don't enjoy the skill. Although I'm only 82 slayer I can see myself getting 99 in time. Runecrafting I don't think I'll ever see. If you're having fun then its almost easier, in a way.
  18. Looking through all those old pictures brought back a ton of memories. I realy do miss classic at times. Btw Meili if you still play you should re-add me. :)
  19. I had a level 3 clue sitting in my bank for months until this update came out. I just dropped it and currently training slayer. I think I'll do them as I get them for awhile to see if they are worth it to me.
  20. Congrats dude, Keep going. Being a tanker is fun eh?
  21. I like the effigys although I havent got one in a few days now. I use them on prayer, great cash saver.
  22. Eh I'm a bit on the fence. It seems handy enough but more so for the lazy player. I have no problem picking up my charms at the same time I get anything else the creature may drop. If anything it'll just make exp quicker and I think its decent enough as is.
  23. I think you could have some good ideas here, Im interested in seeing more.
  24. I wear my skill capes because I'm proud of my skills. My first level 99 was range in '06 back before it became a semi buyable skill. I worked my butt off for it and I think I'll always wear it. My Fishing cape I'm proud of because I took the super slow route along the way and fished about 98% sharks from 76-99. I made a ton of cash and some awesome friends along the way and it was a great time for me in runescape. Although many people consider firemaking a noob skill how many level 99 fm'ers have burnt only their own self cut logs? I got to about 97 wc cutting and burning willows. I think thats quite the achivement. Closing in on 99 magic I can't wait to wear the cape around. I think it has an awesome design (one of my fav visually in runescape) and magic has always been one of my fav skills. Why not wear them?
  25. I pretty much always hop. I almost find it rude not to for most slayer tasks although I can understand overcrowded boss monsters.
