Any other nonclue doers doing clues again?

After not doing clues in like 3 years i dropped my lvl 3 clue and decided to get more and decided they not half bad! now looking for elite ones :)

 

with the new mask what income do you think clues will stop being worth doing at?

I haven't killed monsters in like two months, so yeah if that counts I guess. I did clues before, I just haven't killed monsters in a while.

I've never been strictly "nonclue". I don't like getting crappy rewards, but I always saw it as a usually much-needed break from slaying. Sometimes, if I had a goal that I urgently wanted, I would ignore the scrolls. Now, I'd be crazy not to. There's just too much opportunity for money to be made, even if you just sell the item on the GE! I've also started up my neglected daily activities lately, like Skeletal and Bork. I am desperate for my first elite clue.

I've always disliked doing clues, and I still do, but I feel that they're more worth it now, so . . . I'm trying. :mellow:

I used to do every clue after every task, but then I stopped and just did them when I felt like it. I'll probably keep doing them regularly now for a while.

I gave up for awhile after doing around 50 lvl 3s and the best item being god pages. Finally got a real TT item yesterday but it was only rune t legs :-( . I'll probably keep doing them for a while until the novelty wears of again.

I gave up doing clues some time ago, now though I've been doing every clue I've got and noticed level 1's still usually contain junk. :P But I'm definetly doing all level 3 and 4's from now on, gotta get one of those dragon masks. :thumbup:

I'm not farming for clues, but if I get any during slayer, I am doing them (for the time being).

Well I do do all clues from slayer.. I just havnt trained slayer in a long time. This update doesnt make me want to go out and get elite scrolls or just the normal ones.

 

However I would say I am a clue scroll doer but this update isnt making me do them..

I rarely did them except as a break from Slayer because I never got good rewards from them. With the new rewards I decided to do one, got Rune Helm, Battle Axe, MSB, 12 Lobsters and 8 Sweets. Wont be in any hurry to do anymore :P Of course I'll kill Bork daily in the hope of getting an Elite one just to say I've had one.

I used to have clues sitting in the bank for at least a month before doing them, I now plan to get them done after task. :thumbup:

I wouldn't have hated clues if puzzles had never been invented lol. But right now, because of my personal curiosity with the new items. However, although I force myself to do clues now, I still drop puzzles the moment I see them.

I used to keep a clue in my bank, that way I was sure not to get one while doing slayer. I gave up on them, xp > cash.

 

Now with the new rewards I've done several, ended up with more loot from kills getting clues than the clues itself. Reminding me of why I didn't do clues in the first place. :razz:

I would drop everything and do a clue if i got one, with the false hope that i would get ranger boots.

I really need to realize that my luck in runescape is so bad that the best drop i have ever got was 146k, and a tt drop was 500k.

But i still like clues. Because even though i won't, i might get 3+ mil.

 

EDIT: Lol, yesterday i did get rangers. Funny how this stuff happens.

My average gain per clue went up with 2k by this update, my average was 28,000 gp, now it's 30k.

 

Ha... well only did 5 lv 3 clues so it might increase even a little more :)

Nothing new from me, if I get a clue during my slayer task, I do it. I might make an exception with lvl 4 for a while and cut my tasks in multiple trips.

With this update I've been splitting my tasks into 4 bits for levels 3's, meaning if I get a clue in the first 1/4th of the task, I'll finish the first 1/4th then bank, meaning at most I'll only do 4 level 3's per task. Whether or not I stick with that is yet to be determined.

 

For level 4's I'll bank immediately.

I'm not a clue farmer, and not much has changed.

 

Currently training slayer, and if I find a clue scroll, then I'll stop my task and do it. On that note, I need to pay more attention to skill updates. I was training my fishing/dungeoneering and must have completely missed the update that brought in Wergali seeds. Had no idea there was such a thing as a crafting potion...I feel like an idiot.

I had a lvl 3 sitting in my bank for around a year or so and decided to do it today for fun. I got a Addy pl8 (h5), which was a cool 315k (didn't even bother looking at the street value) and a few more items. I'll keep doing them until I start getting a bunch of zonks in row and give up on clues again.
