So before I sleep tonight I hope to have finally gotten 98 Fishing. That means I need just one more level until I -finally- have my cape. I wanted 99 fishing since I came back from my break over a year ago just things come up. Anyways, the more I thought about it I decided I really don't have a clue what would look good with it. Please provide some input on some possible clothing options you think would blend with/bring out the fishing cape. Thanks a lot in advance.

Fire giants or black demons for ranged/magic combat. Ankou for melee. Any of those 3 would do.

Does anyone remember... -Piles of '0' gold. -When adam rocked (or before). -When phats were cheaper then rune larges. -Pk anywhere (Within 3 limits) ..Feel free to toss a few in.

Most useful - Magic, Fishing/Cooking combo. Think of how many things magic can do for you. From teles, to combat magic to battle, to spells to help with crafting. This skill can do it all. Fishing because I believe it supplies atleast 90% of the food used during combat in one way or another and who doesn't enjoy combat every now and then? Least useful - Firemaking. Although I eventually plan to get 99 cause the emote rocks, it doesn't have many in game uses these days.

I signed up in early Spring of '01 I believe. My character class was a Necromancer. Although I've had lengthy periods where I was inactive so I subtracted about 2.5 human years off my characters age. I'll say about 50? Middle age. O.O

This was prob the biggest pain in my behind in awhile. Ever since I came back from a year off last summer I decided I wanted to get from 76-99 fishing ONLY sharks. You can imagine how slow this was so I of course took breaks, even had a few months where I was barly on due to irl stuff. Get part way through to 98 only to realise sharks are 500gp each. So I've turned to the dark side, gave up my goal and started fishing monks. Simply not worth it to fish sharks currently.

Perhaps the reason good names are so hard to come accross is because everyone and their sister makes 30 accounts and uses maybe 3 of them although I must agree I'm partly to blame. I have 3 accounts. Huzzah (Created Spring 01, Still currently my main) Ego Suicide (My pure/Sub main. Was created towards the end of 03 when I was hacked (only time) and I thought I lost my main. I started leveling again a bit recently)

Wow its funny reading something on someone I consider a friend. I still remember when I first ran into ya outside the fishing guild again after not talking to ya/seeing you around for years. I miss seein you're name as green. Best wishes dude.

I find it funny that people only see it as a bad thing when it effects their income. Kinda sad really as an auto of any type can ruin the game as a whole. Also I don't judge autos simply by combat lvl but when you see a lvl 7 named something obvi with only ranked stat being fishing (or wc, mining, whatever) how could I think any different?

You still have a long road ahead but I'm sure ya can do it. Its my goal to go from 76-99 on sharks alone. Set myself a very long path :P Best of luck && Keep us updated.

I use modern mostly. I haven't done the quest for lunar yet and the ancients teleports just aren't handy enough for me as I don't pk often && I'd rather not make/buy teletabs. Plus I'm sooo used to the modern setup with high alch and blasts. ..Although I do like turning people into ice cubes from time to time. What about you, for every-day use?

I'd either choose mining or construction. Im really close to 99 fishing now so I wouldn't wanna waste it. Mining I don't enjoy, construction would save me mills. Either would work.

Combat Level - 98. Total Level - 1660 Please rate on a scale from 1 to 10. Currently fishing my way to 97 & after that I'll level magic to 95 and switch back and forth until 99 fishing/97 magic. Then I'll prob bump theiving to 80 get 98 magic, wc to 80 and get that spiffy magic cape. Any advice for after that?

If you have money to burn, I went 95-99 very quickly ranging greater demons in the cage south of Yanille. (Watchtower cave with the blue dragons.) I suppose you could power range there too but it'd be slower, whatever you do don't cannon obvi.

99 Cooking. (17.6M Exp) Product of Fishing, Don't like to lose money burning food. 99 Ranged. (13.6M Exp) First 99, Always loved ranging. Going to get into top 1K Rangers eventually. 96 Fishing. (10M Exp) I find it peaceful, Good time to pm friends. Next planned 99. 94 Magic. (7.96M Exp) Started as a Necromancer, I like ranged combat styles. 90 Hitpoints. (5.56M Exp) Product of training combat. Eventually I'd like 99.
