SC tools and penance horn

I'm currently training mining, agility and crafting for ROTM, so was wondering what exp boosts/multipliers are worth the time to get?

If it comes down to enjoyment of the skill vs the minigames I'd probably prefer minigames, although crafting doesn't bother me that much.

Finally which are the best training methods from 72 agility, 72 mining and 74 crafting?

THANKS! :D

BA is a good boost, definitely more than 20-30% faster xp gain overall.

Stealing creation isn't good generally, although crafting is quite expensive the cheapest ways do not use tools you can get there (battlestaves & jewellery).

For agility, that means Ape Atoll with summer pies (keep agility level at 75) and penance horn. For mining, it's granite with penance horn. For crafting, either water or air battlestaves.

If you join the w99 SC clan ('Fast SC' I think they're called) you will be able to get just over 60 points an hour if I recall correctly. That's 3 tools per hour! I used it for my crafting + smithing + construction exp a while ago and I quite enjoyed playing SC with the clan. Give it a shot.

The combination of saved time and saved cash makes SC worth it, particularly for smithing and crafting. Battlestave prices are coming back up and the charged orbs are either expensive or brutal to make.

I did Fast SC in small doses, alternating with some training. It was really fun!

like mentioned by Quyneaux, SC is generally looked down upon by EFFICIENCY ppl..... if you do not care about opportunity/time-costs then it's definitely for you, as Penance horn does not support bonus % XP rates for Crafting, Fletching, Smithing etc. as far as I remember, but yeah the general consensus is that:

* If you have time and dedication, SC is generally an option

* if you want to grind non-exp granting moneymaking methods and buy fast xp, it is not a viable solution in terms of efficiency

* if you play casually and like the minigame, you should really not care about what people think and just play the minigame (listening to others in terms of Xp-gaining the fastest way possible naturally implies that you are willing to go on their terms in matter of how the game should be playing; thus you no longer "play the game your way" which kind of defeats the whole purpose of playing the game for your own sake :P)
