I found out the other day my clan actually has a citadel.. just nobody does anything on it

Citadels are fun, but they take up a lot of your time. I can't wait for the day when the quotas aren't so big and you can get a ton of xp in what you want. The cooking xp is really nice, for example.

So, a low-levelled new guy in our clan chat says he died to Hati while trying to do the Fremennik Trials. I'm in the area, so I head up and bless his grave. I ask him if he's got the gloves yet, and he says no. Before you know it, another guy from the clan has arrived and we went and killed Hati together, landing the new guy the Hati gear he couldn't have obtained on his own. Obviously, you can't go out and get the gloves without getting the boots to match, so we head off to Sköll. Unfortunately, that resulted in the new guy suffering another grisly death. One mention in the Clan Chat and about half the clan arrives to kill Sköll. 3 kills later, and he's got the boots, and we've all had a lot of fun.

 

Jagex, Hati and Sköll are examples of how to do seasonal events right. More please.

I agree.. killing them were pretty fun.

We re-opened it just so Kandy could do his Agil effigies.. Think it'll close itself down fairly soon again anyways.

At any rate, I did my daily flasks and sold them for 8k a piece :> Hell to the no am I buying some in for that much.

Flasks are just a bonus imo. Don't really need em. Only things worth flasking are ovls

And in my case brews. If it'll help keep me alive (someone who dies at Frost Dragons for crying out loud), then I need them.

I lasted 2 kills without a yak, half brews half brew flasks....Yak will be better. ;)

I bought gano so that I could do Jad for my sacrificial fire cape, but got addicted to mummies for my champ scroll. Urgh, I hope the new fight caves won't be terribly laggy; I was hoping to get my cape before then. I'll probably just use up my current fire cape since I never use it anyway.

They will be uber laggy.

Been there for 3.5 hours already: got 1 effigy in first 15 mins, then 3 hours of nothing, then 2 effigies in 5 minutes. GIVE ME MY DAMN CHAMPION SCROLL!
