brad1431
I need to get to 89 to craft the new flasks. I am mining the 50 sandstone every day as a daily routine, but now I need to raise my crafting quickly to take advantage of the flasks before the price goes down. With BXP also coming up, that should help as well. What is the best current method for crafting?
Poppet
Available gp and gp/per hour?
Lord Paul
D'hide bodies are outrageous at the moment as are cutting gems (assuming you buy/sell at med). Battlestaves are about the same xp as green bodies, but half the price. The downside is that there is a 100/4hr limit on GE. If you buy in bulk from the forums, you'll pay a fair amount over med. Still, I recommend battlestaves unless you want to get some SC tools. Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Syd
You could always do unstrung emblems (unholy amulet), urns or craft jewelry from emeralds/rubies. You should be able to get about 80k+ xp/h with very reasonable price (- 1-3 gp/xp or so). Of course XP rate is nowhere as good as the faster options, but unless you can make few mils /hour, it isn't very unreasonable either.
zoth01
Decorated cooking urns are around 61k exp per hour, almost unnoticeable loss. This is using a tortoise, otherwise the exp is around 5k less.Doing the best exp sapphire item is around 60-70k exp an hour. You used to break/make a small profit, but now you loose 1gp/xp. They are still the best jewelery when compared to ruby/emerald items (since they're 2 to 4 to 6 gp/xp and only around 10-15k more exp per hour). Kimberly
Don't forget that you can use crafting potions to boost 3 levels, so it's not strictly necessary to get exactly to 89.
