Haha I love only fools and horses, I used to watch it all the time :P

It's a REALLY big shaft.

I didn't catch fire, I used the can of hairspray as a flamethrower and pointed it at my arm.

how are you going to ignore my posts when I'm offering to let you live as my vassal in two weeks time?

How much do those pads+software programs cost? I've been thinking of getting one. Cuz tbh, I would like to get rid of the whole constant ruined paper from eraser wear and tear factor that keeps holding me back from finishing a lot of my pics.

There are a ton of decent, free drawing programs - GIMP, Paint.net, even the newest version of MS Paint is halfway decent. Tablet, I dunno - the one I just got was sort of a gift from my dad, and my old one was a gift from "Santa."

That said, a quick search on Bing (which has somehow become my default new-tab button...) says that you could get one for like $20-30. They're probably rather cruddy, though - remember you get what you pay for.

Well, I'm willing to put the money in for a more expensive model if needed. I'm just curious if any cheap ones are as good/almost as good as the more expensive models. Hmm. I'll have to do some research it seems. :)

I saw one in the electronics store yesterday that cost 1,999kr, ~365$, but then again it was quite large and I think it was an Apple product.

Yeah, don't buy anything Apple unless you have a bunch of extra cash to nuke and nothing else to nuke it on.

I would actually suggest getting something really cheap at first to see if you like the feel of using a tablet - if you don't, no harm done; if it breaks, not much loss; if you like it, then you can go on and buy a better model.

Watch Top Gear.

NOOOOOOO.

Can occassionally be interesting, but then you realise that you are listening to a guy talking about a car...and another guy talk about another car...and a third guy talk about yet another car....3 Shows and you basically have the rest of the series mapped out for you.

David Tenant's Doctor Who.

Meh, can be good until you realise you were supposed to be watching everything in the background to get the clues to the future...Its like you are playing a game and the mod suddenly says 'And everyone takes off their masks and are revealed to be zombies'.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

Archi, don't deny he is a good actor though.

Also I pretty much got scared like 10 minutes ago, I was on the internet when a popup comes up from my network centre "New media sharer: Emalovely has appeared". I was like huh, and then check my network, and there's like 3 other PC's on my network. I started crapping myself thinking I was getting hacked, and think "Oh god what do I do". I realise Hamachi is still open, and some of the names in hamachi match some of the PC's in my network, so I close that. But they're still there. So I ctrl alt delete and find hamachi in my processes, close it, they're still there. I ask someone what to do, they say restart your router, I restart my router. THEY'RE STILL THERE. Then I realise the hamachi network is still opened, but my hamachi is closed, so I disable the network, and they disappear.

Though I am very paranoid they're still in my pc.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

Its hard to comment on his acting prowess...Face it, anyone could be Dr Who and the British Public would applaude them as brilliant.

I had the same issue at University. If you got to Network and Sharing Center (on the control panel) you can turn off Network Discovery. Not sure if you have to turn it off for each connection, probably not.

Top Gear is only just entertaining enough to watch when there's nothing else on early in the afternoon, I've seen two episodes of Doctor Who at school and it's not exactly my sort of sci-fi, I think I may have seen something named The Colony, though I'm not sure, Outlaw Star sounds like an old western series and Gilmore Girls... I used to watch that when I was ten I think, though only for a month or so.

It's not like I lack anything to watch, there's Game of Thrones and I still have a few hundred episodes of Pokémon left. But Stargate was special. At the very first episode I saw, which was of Stargate Atlantis, I fell in love with the franchise. It didn't exactly put me off to know that the original film is as old as me. And then the last episode that will ever be aired last night in the US and both the upcoming films have been cancelled. This is the second or third worst I've ever felt, I'm not sure if it beats my old dog being put down due to cancer. I'm actually crying as I am writing this.

EDIT: ICU, Network and Sharing center>Change Adapter settings>Hamachi>Right-click>Disable.

I disabled the network, but I'm not sure if they somehow got into my private home network.

Just had a strange thought.

In the 70s they thought microchips of the future would be so powerful that humans could be stored on them and such.

Nowadays we worry about mobile phones and massive conspiracies and such...

And we know that people used to believe that everything, even inanimate objects had spirits.

So I am wondering...why do we consider it more likely that some metal, plastic and electricity, are going to spontanously develop life and declare war on us...but we don't think 'Oh my GOD I am surrounded by Bricks, what if they suddenly came alive!'

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I guess cause we haven't believed everything have spirits for quite a while, and mechanical things we have created can be automated and thus it's not too far fetched to believe that it is possible to make a robot with full automation (as in AI).

We didn't exactly have houses that can build other houses.

It's a REALLY big shaft.

To hell with AI, all you'd need is a 'bot with a gun, thermal sensors, and programming to shoot any human-sized moving heat signature. Probably would cost a crapload of money and not really do anything, but I assume it would be relatively possible with current technology.

Also, I've been thinking about religion recently. Kinda justified (in my own mind) my policy of "Take life as it comes, thank someone for your fortune, and worry about the afterlife when I get there."

Because we aren't all stoned out of our brains? :P
