what levels or equipment (non DG) do I need for TD;s?

Featured Replies

without having to do a lot of prayer switching or armor switching?

thegame1431.png

Handcannon and a godsword. Void.

All you have to switch is the weapon and the void helm.

Looking at your sig, your levels are fine, although you could obviously do with 99 range and firemaking.

When you dung I'd recommend a maul if you insist on not switching much, or a rapier if you want to be most efficient but more effort. Rigour after that.

How do I get a void helm? I hope not by any of those horrible mini games.....

thegame1431.png

... all void items are from the minigames.

You should stick to range/melee with only a weapon switch, that's ccbow/rapier or kxbow/maul. You have all the levels you need except 99 summoning.

Pest control for void equipment. :P

Another option for you would be: (and this is what I used a lot)

- Neitz helm

- Black d'hide body/chaps

- Dragon boots/Glaiven

- SW cape/Fire cape/Kiln

- Fury

- Berserker ring (i), ranger (i)

- Hand cannon/Karil's xbow

- Whip/ags

- Darklight/defender

No armour switches. :)

pest control is annoying but is at least doable.... as long as it isnt like mobilising armies

can you reccommend any good guides, most of the AOW guides that I read in general are horribly out of date. I have everything except void and DG stuff

thegame1431.png

I actually suggest conquest instead of Pest Control for commendation points, it is easy, fun (at least I find it fun) and you can get up to 100 points per hour.

conquest sounds like a horrible mini game, they said it is like chess. It sounds aweful

thegame1431.png

You say the AOW guides are out of date, but so are you. If you want to be updated you need to dg and do some minigames. Don't bash something when you don't even have it. For equipment, Jeremy's suggestions are fine. Of course you won't be using (i) though.

The Tip.it guide to tormented demons got updated not too long ago - read this. The guide assumes you have a chaotic melee weapon for the most part, but you can always replace it with a whip.

you dont need a guide for pest control

just do 500 damage then afk for 2 minutes

I have done pest control, how many games would I need to complete to get this void armor?

thegame1431.png

You get 4 points per vet boat win, and full void (melee and range helm) costs 1150. So 288 games.

Probably wanna do conquest instead at least for a little while, and definitely spend 150 more points on the deflector.
