Is corping good money?

Just wondering if corp is a viable way to earn money, stats in sig.

thanks :)

I'm no expert on corp, but I'd say your Prayer, summoning, and herblore aren't high enough to effectively take him down, you certainly wouldn't have much of a chance in FFA, and unless you have some good friends who already corp on a regular basis, I doubt any teams will be willing to take you. It couldn't hurt to ask around however, but for the time being I don't think you're quite ready to take down the beast.

Well, you don't need summoning for corp, seeing as the corp eats your familiar to regain some health ;) But yeah your best chance if you're planning to corp is to get on to a team with some friends you can trust.

Don't forget about the TMHT Corporeal Beast event on Sunday! You could have some fun there and we may even get lucky! :)

Dreadnips and Goliaths? Those help a bunch.

Corp is great cash if you can minimize the amount of people on a team and still get fairly fast kills.

You have the melee stats for corp, but even those aren't enough for the smaller teams to accept you. With no extremes and turmoil you're going to have to get into bigger teams and be splitting the loot up more.

My advice, get at least extremes if you want to get into decent teams. Turmoil and Overloads will get you into great teams and give you a chance at solo'ing him.

Corp is hypothetically decent money on average... But you must be willing to do it for a very long time and invest a lot into brews until you get your first sigil. Until then, you'll typically make a small loss on brews and ganodermic recharges, with the small loots such as onyx bolts. With a small team you will actually get a pretty good blue charm/hour rate.

Overloads are a must if you're going to fight him solo/duo. With more people you can get away with extremes or even supers, and not using brews to heal, but you may have difficulty finding a team that will accept you. Turmoil (and SS) is awesome and again, you'll struggle to find a team if you don't have it.

The best part about corp for me is that it's actually pretty fun to do. So if you just wanna have fun with a group of friends, or alone, you could certainly do worse than corping. The adrenaline rush of getting that sigil is intense, too. :D

I'd recommend getting overloads and turmoil over the xp weekend. Prioritize overloads over turmoil if you can't do both.

Basically, corp if you have some money to blow on supplies, don't expect a profit immediately, get ovls/turm ASAP.

I've been doing a lot of solo corp for fun lately but I'd have to say it's not really good for money. If I keep it up I'll eventually get a sigil, sure, but until then I'm using 6-8 brews, 0.5 ovls and ganodermic degrade per kill... It adds up and if you are lsing you may not even get a sigil, at least while I solo I will get all sigils dropped even though my costs are higher.

Basically, corp is fun but I wouldn't consider it good cash unless you stick with it for a long time and even then it's not the best way to make cash.

It's not great money unless you can solo well, and even then... but it's fun.

80 melee stats with overloads and turmoil are better corping than 99 melee stats without those, so get to work on herblore/prayer! (before corping)

Well seeing as you have 85 dungeoneering I would recommend giving frost dragons a try. Bosses would be a lot better if you had ovls/turm so you're probably going to have to put up with some of the more tedious money makers for a while.

Bosses scale much more with ovl/turmoil than things like frost dragons, so I'd recommend frosts. Once you get a unicorn you can try glacors/tds for luck (also mage xp @ glacors if you're into that).
