March 23, 201214 yr thought it was about time i gave Fight Caves a go. planning to use ranged since tip.it guide seems to suggest this is easiest, but it does seem a bit old so i'm open to suggestions. don't have chaotics. do have rigour. if ranging i would use full armadyl and rune xbow with rune bolts. should i use ruby or diamond bolts for jad? fury or amulet of ranging? spectral or zammy book? feel like extra mage protection might help if i'm sloppy with my prayers... how many potions/flasks should i take? that's my main dilemma... thanks! It is better to remain silent and be thought a noob than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

March 23, 201214 yr Personally, I just use Broad Bolts for everything except for Jad. I usually take about 100 Diamond bolts for him.
March 23, 201214 yr I've seen some guides suggesting using emerald (e) bolts in the waves, as the poison helps to speed up kills (haven't tried it on Fight cave monsters; but they do substantially speed up my Aviansies kills)
March 24, 201214 yr I'd highly advise meleeing the caves as it won't cost as much as magic but still be very quick. You will have to kite the 360s but it is worth the effort. For overloads take probably 2 flasks or 3 vials. That should be plenty even without chaotics. Meleeing jad is much easier than most people think, he dies very quickly if you spec him out with claws once the healers arrive. Another option would be to bring a crossbow and some bolts already equipped aswell as an accumulator and a range top so you can range jad. Good luck!
March 24, 201214 yr Do not use Range, it is really slow. Bring ahrims and use polypore, switch to Ganodermic for Jad. You can also use SOA with armadyl battlestaff but I find that polypore is fast enough as it is. Bring 3 overload potions (4), 3 renewal potions (4), 8 brews (4), rest with prayer potions and couple of super restores. No need to use flasks as you may not even use brews and you should have enough prayer left over even if you use leech magic.
