On the scale hands normall are in cartoon type images try drawing 3 finger sin the space and it all lines up nicely trying drawing in tht 1 extra finger and it becames really messy and complex to get to look right - for the majority anyway.

sorry :( well i still think (even my hands suck) that it looks much better with a hand than a fraction of a hand. like on aprsons like money one it would look funny w/ 3 fingers but thats just me :P

You are wrong, take a look at Craza Killa's and DarkWitchy's sig, Craza Killa has 5 fingers in his other hand, and so does left guard :wink: .

SImpson only have 4 fingers. Not sure about family guy.

Hehe, well I originally tried 5 fingers but they were too much to work with in a small scale, so stuck with 4 for better detail rather than just tiny sticks which can't be manipulated to do different hand positions. Maybe that's the reason other cartoonists also use 4 fingers, keeping it simple to the max.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, yes that is my site and no rippings are going on here. I'll lock this since there's not much other discussion that could come out of my specific tendency in pixelart but would have left open if it was more of a discussion on tendencies in general art rather than one forum user's. :P
