I would like to see up to rune (no dragon at least not for pickaxes) then again, dragon pickaxes would mean they get perma removed from the economy which means that they have slightly more upwards price pressure. May 23, 201214 yr Regardless of the economic impact; shouldn't it be OUR choice to add a higher lvl pickaxe to the toolbelt? The reasoning is that it isn't possible to remove them. That means if a newb adds the dragon pickaxe they can't resell it anymore so they might ragequit at the perma-lost 10m gp or whatever the cost is.
