dks equipment question

aliright so im fairly experienced at dks, i duo them alot but done solo much (no yak) and ive made enough money to make some upgrades in my armour.

 

i use 2 different setups mainly

 

 

or the same everything with bcp and tassets instead of royal dhide and v skirt.

 

we always use at least 1 cannon and bank all bones.

 

bassically i have 26m cash but if i sell the bandos which i rarely use for anything besides dks and a couple of other things (mostly just mtk stackups) i can pretty easily have about 60-62m so my question is what upgrades should i make? i can get a spectral? or arcane? or steads? which would all be helpful, also is bandos or the picture above a better armour setup?

i melee with a rapier and claws and range with cannon and rune cbow

 

i was thinking the best might be the above with an arcane instead of a bss OR the above with bandos and a spectral instead of torso legs and shield

 

p.s. im using ovls and ss(not getting turm cuz its useless in beta) a tort and titan (soon to be uni), and my freind has a yak with him, so i dont really feel like spending it on skills).

I would stick with Bandos plate and tassets. I assume you're just standing in the middle and killing whatever spawns, while praying mage most of the time, so the extra defence from Bandos would be nice while tanking Rex and Supreme. And I guess Spectral would suit that just fine for dealing with that little mage damage you receive from spinos.

That's the best guide out there, IMO, however imcomplete/WIP it may be.

 

If you don't want to follow that strategy, you can take a look at the suggested inventories / setups, and replace things you won't use (Like barrage runes) with others you may need, be it brews or whatnot

1) Upgrade your ring to berserker or at least tokkul-zo.

2) If you're not already using one, bring a ddef.

3) I would also stick with Bandos.

4) The first upgrade would be arcane spirit shield, or maybe ragefires. If you can, get Fremmenik Sea Boots 4.

I would say BCP and Tassy for the crashers. Also, A slayer helmet.
