October 14, 201213 yr Just got member's for a month. I was wondering what 99 would be the fastest and cheapest to get with my current stats. Also, approximately how much would it cost? Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! It's been fun.[hide=Signature]R.I.P Billy Mays and <3 My Friend C.D.S 7/8/09 <360,816th to 99 Fletching 03/07/09|220,309th Person to be Able to Kill Dusties | 10 Year Cape on 12/20/14[/hide]
October 14, 201213 yr There's really too many variables to factor in to give you the answer you want. Do you want it to be a "useful" 99? If so what kind of activities do you plan on doing in the future? Do you want it to be a fun 99? If so what skills do you enjoy? Do you want it to be a prestigious 99? How much money are you willing to spend? How fast do you class as fast? Achievable in a month? Do you want it to be a "buyable"? I'm sorry if I sound rude, but you really didn't give any information apart from "fast and cheap", which I will take as a cheap buyable: in which case I would say cooking.
October 15, 201213 yr Cooking swordfish till 90; monkfish till 94; sharks till 99. with current rate, it literally costs nothing!
October 15, 201213 yr Author Haha sorry for the lack of information. I was short on time. I just want a 99 that is semi AFKable, due to school work. I'd like to be able to do it while doing homework, so from the sound of it cooking would be the way to go. Is the thieving guild still the best place to cook? October 15, 201213 yr The question you need to ask yourself here is: why do I want a 99?Maybe it's a personal thing, but I don't see why people grind themselves stupid for a 99 and the prestige they hope to get by it. Seriously. Strutting with a Cooking/Fletching cape won't make you more respected in this game (especially because half the game is strutting around with a cape). Just play the game, see what you enjoy and play for that reason. Not much changed between when I finally got 99 RC last november (being my first 99) and now. October 15, 201213 yr Author To be honest, I could care less if someone respects in a game in which I will never meet that person again in game or in life. I just want a nice gold trim to my Fletching cape. Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! October 15, 201213 yr For a fast easy 99 definitely go with cooking or firemaking. Runecrafting is pretty afk too but not nearly as fast. Magic is fast and reasonably afk when barraging but costly, same deal with ranged and prayer. Try w100 shanty pass. ppl used to make bonfires there, which provide bonus cooking exp. not sure if they still there after the area rework though.
