November 14, 201213 yr Hello,I am currently level 96 dung with 99 attack/defense, I have a hood and primal battle axe bound along with csb for ammo, I primarily key, so would it be beneficial to get primal plate/legs as my 3/4 binds? I can't use a hex since I am 90 range, any tips are appreciated
November 14, 201213 yr If you primarily key I would assume that blood neck and primal plate would be the best. however i havent dung'd in months so my info may be outdated "Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than on outward circumstances."Benjamin Franklin "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."Albert Einstein
November 14, 201213 yr Saying you "key" is an outdated phrase; there should be no such thing as one person doing key doors and the rest of the team being gd [bleep]. The typical setup at sub 100 dg is primal plate and primal baxe. The idea of the hood being good was that you were negating a bunch of damage by being hidden and thus being able to pray accordingly. As floors get faster and faster, the hood is activated less and less, rendering it useless. The plate is consistent defense and as such the optimal choice. The next step is choosing between the two preferable binds, bloodneck and hex. Seeing as you can't use the hex, bind a bloodneck as soon as possible. Until then, bind whatever the hell you want. Perhaps an empowered fire staff for extra magic damage? 1) Weapon of choice 2) Best platebody 3) BN/Hex 4) EFS, SSH, Primal legs (not really), whatever you want. Life is good at the moment, you have options.
November 14, 201213 yr If you are worried about dying and don't have great DG partners I would definitely go with a more defensive bind like primal legs. Right now blood neck isn't very great in EoC, so I wouldn't get that right away. As for the Hex, I would bind that over just about anything even without 99 range, then go get 99 :D just because they rarity.
November 14, 201213 yr The current combat system heavily favours high strength bonus, e.g. blood necklace, primal gauntlets and primal baxe/2h with a primal platebody. Since you have a csb bound, an empowered fire staff boosts magic dps a lot, which is probably better than primal gauntlets, but it depends a bit on how many people you dg with have hexes. After EoC happens, equipment won't have any offensive advantages anymore, so it'll be beneficial to bind top, legs, helm and weapon for melee and another style as dictated by your ammo bind. November 15, 201213 yr did I see that they changed the binds and now 90 plus gets 3 binds? did they add one bind?
November 15, 201213 yr everyone can bind 10 items.. you get three specific "load outs" that you create from those ten items.. your dung level determines how many items per load out.. 1-19 gets 1 per, 20-49 gets 2 per, 50-89 gets three, 90-119 gets four, and 120 gets 5
November 16, 201213 yr Yes. You also have up to 10 items to choose from which you can switch at any time. Also, drop the surgebox and get a Celestial Staff for maging with. (This magic part only applies post EoC.) Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.[spoiler=The rest of my sig. November 16, 201213 yr I would personally do 2h/pl8, longbow/chest, the staff that gives all 4 ele runes/top legs then personal preferences since eoc the armor gives hp/lp
