I can get to the rooms with the portals near them but everytime i try and use a portal it says its inactive. Am i missing a quest or something? thanks in advance! He is trying to do them in the Chaos Tunnels.... which has absolutely nothing to do with the Waterfall quest. You need to do the Hunt for Surok miniquest to get all of those portals to open up. The third spot, in the Waterfall Dungeon, has no distractions and allows cannons. It's the best place to kill fire giants. It's the best place to kill fire giants.You'll waste cannonballs on the rats though :( (though you'll ironically get more xp per ball from the rats). 2 In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain you still get the combat XP from pure cannon kills. That's what I've noticed when cannoning DBs for example, it's only the slayer XP that's reduced.
