yeah and how did the betting play out across the flop turn and river? You should have recognized that the flop can hit straights, and bet in a way that only an opponent with a straight would call, in which case you would fold your trip 10s.

 

You have to realise that folding great hands is a part of the game, theres nothing making you commit to going all in with those types of hands,

with a set you should be checking at some point, off the flop definitely.

I wouldn't say so. I'd continue the betting with a set. More often than not they have an up and down than actually flopping it.

Of course if the raise comes on the river there's a good chance they have it, at which point as sick as it is you have to fold.

He was short stack too, which sucked, cause I went from mid stack to short stack.

Again you have to remember that poker is 99% luck when considering one game, and 99% skill when considering 1000 games in terms of how much you are winning.

 

Sometimes you do just lose like that, best thing to do is re analyse the hand and judge whether you played the hand correctly.

 

It always boils down to that actually, did u play your hand correctly in the position you were in with the blinds you had and the blinds your opponent had. You can lose hands and still have played it correctly.

But my AA lost one time. Like I said. Poker is rigged
