February 19, 200620 yr I love watching the Ice Hockey, go Canada! lmao they lost to the Swiss.  :P Canada didn't deserve to win that game, but niether did the Swiss. Only Gerber deserved to win. The shots he faced weren't even that good.
February 19, 200620 yr Norway in number one with the most medals, and U.S.A with the most gold medals! Speed skating and snowboarding are my favorites. The U.S is horrible in curling. Shaun white got a gold for half pipe. Snowboard cross, a lot of people fall.

Actually, we're doing pretty medioker in curling, not too bad. But really, it all boils down to the medal count for me. I was seriously getting anxious when USA was way down in 5th in the medal standings, as long as we're still in that top 3, i'm a happy stressfree camper. That, and placing in at least the finals in Ice Hockey. EDIT: Actually, our men's curling is tied for second in the standings :D (I was suprised how suspensful that sport is, I use to just refuse to watch it). Gamertag: King Arizona
February 19, 200620 yr Oh man, the boardercross was hilarious... In the womens finals the american chick had the lead by a mile then went to show off on the 2nd last jump, pulled a method and crashed. The person in 2nd place zoomed past to take gold  Lvl 80 construction. Dragon Drops: 11 (4 Chains, 2 Axes, 1 Med, 2 Skirts, 1 Legs, 1 2h) God Wars Drops: 4 Zamorakian Spears, 1 Godsword Shard 1
February 22, 200620 yr Pathetic men's ice hockey. Russia - 2 Canada - 0 Out. :( Now maybe Gretzky will realize that leaving 9 of your top 13 offensive players home will get you shut out in half of your games.
February 22, 200620 yr Lol, Olympics are very boring to me...It seems the only reason you're cheering is because it's your country. Not that patriotism is bad, but do we really need a handful of athletes to tell the status of our nation? You've never even hear of the athletes until the Olympics start (or possibly shortly before) then you forget their names/never hear from them again/until the next Olympics. But on a side note, I find Luge to be a terribly pointless sport, but Bobsled is tremendously fun to watch. It doesn't seem particularly skill/strength oriented (aside from a good push-off), and then they fling down an ice-shoot faster than cars drive on a highway. And when they do their run at the start, everyones screaming, it's just funny to me.
February 23, 200620 yr IM VERRRY happy, i dont remember which one snowboarder it was, but in the trick competition, a USA member qualified for the finals, and they interviewed him, and all he said was "IM SO STOAKED!!" lmao i laughed so hard, my dad says if i went to the winter olympics and said that, my dad would say *slaps head* "thats what i raised?!" :D Rest In Peace SampsonNever forget: 11-20-06

I love the sports, competition, speeds, thrills, diversity etc. Something about the summer olympics lacks these. And the luge is hilarious, same with the skeleton. Bobsled is bulky and unstable, but luge is incredibly thrilling. Lvl 80 construction. February 23, 200620 yr Pathetic men's ice hockey. Russia - 2 Canada - 0 Out. :( Only time I was interested in watching hockey and they played so badly :\

I know that there are handles inside the bobsled for steering the runners and I suppose that in luge and skeleton they have to just steer by moving their weight around. I don't think the people in the back of the bobsled do anything though except just push off and then duck down. Personally I love the winter olympics. Pretty much all of the sports intrest me (I'm not into figure skatting.) I'm not that much into summer olympics, but I do enjoy them somewhat. PDM PDM
