97-99 Slayer Help & Tips needed.

Ok, so I need these last 2 slayer levels for max cape. Want to make sure I'm not missing anything and would like the most slayer xp possible, since it seems to be just crawling along.

1) What should my block list look like?

2) Gear - I have been wearing bandos/arma/ahrims for tasks, but then yesterday I saw a guide somewhere (forget where) in which the writer recommended using elite void legs & torso and full slayer helm for every task?? Something to do with them being classed all? I am clueless about this, can anyone shed some light?

3) D&D's and bonus xp - Besides jade vine, are there other slayer based dailies/weeklies I am missing? (Been putting JOAT(Edit: To clarify I am referring to the "Jack of Trades" Aura. I thought it was Jack of All Trades. Apologies for any confusion), peng points and anything else I can on slayer also.)

Think that's it. Any helpful tips & tricks/ advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

Don't use void, it's a stupid idea. Use the slayer model to figure out your blocklist (it doesn't reflect the most recent changes so you'll have to estimate a little).

The idea of void top/legs is prayer bonus, which you can get with Bandos/subj/arma as well, and void has no damage boost of course. But assuming you have no problems defence-wise, there's no reason you can't slay in void skirt with gwd tops (for damage). It saves a grant total of one switch. Boots/gloves can be dragon rider for added prayer bonus as well.

No slayer based D&Ds that I remember, there's your all-round xp (Tears are good too, for you) and that's about it.

Edit @ below: Forgot statues :(. What kind of xp do you get, same as prayer?

God statues is a slayer-exp giving D&D if you build the "wrong" statues...

However it's a monthly D&D so I don't know if it would really make a difference

There's no such thing as JOAT. It's Jack of Trades. Buy it from Xuan for 15k loyalty points, then activate it once every 24 hours and get xp in ten different skills for an xp lamp in any skill, equal to what you get for turning in strange rocks.

God statues are located in Lumbridge, Yanille, Canifis, and Taverley and marked with the yellow compass icon on the map. They give construction xp, and a choice of slayer (if you kill an enemy) or prayer xp, once a month. Talk to the gnome sculptor and he'll explain it.

Penguin points are obtained by finding the penguin spies hidden around RuneScape. There's a new set of them every week and you can turn them in at the Ardougne Zoo for a large chunk of xp in the skill of your choice.
