Currently I have: Weapons: C MaulC RapierPolypore/Staff of Light Nothing worth mentioning for range Armor: All void setsVeracs top/bottomGanoKaril's What should I work on getting to improve? Is it possible to use void everywhere? Is it possible to mage/melee tasks that are range weak? I'm 99 range so I'd rather get the xp in Melee/mage Also, when I left, dual wielding was worse than 2h because of the way abilities worked. Has that changed at all? Thanks!! May 18, 201313 yr Unless something has changed that I'm unaware of you should use a full slayer helmet rather than void. So full slayer helmet + damage boosting armour so use the GWD armour unless you can afford Nex sets. Royal crossbow for range, I'm not sure about mage and either duel Drygores if you can afford them or a chaotic claw main hand + EE for melee. May 18, 201313 yr Author I completely forgot about slayer helm... I'm assuming that since dual wielding was suggested that means the way dual wield/2h functions has changed?
May 18, 201313 yr Dual wield now gets the same damage as 2h, slightly better abilities usually. Before, abilities only used main hand damage iirc, now they use off-hand damage as well, but they still ignore off-hand accuracy. May 18, 201313 yr If you have the cash, invest in a Wand and Book for mage. Treachery + Ahrims book is about 13m, probably as low a combination as you'd want to be going. Ahrims wand and book is about 23m. Of course go for Virtus if you have money to splash. Several monsters can now be slayed effectively (in some cases better than the "weakness" option) using dual wield barraging. May 21, 201313 yr I am new back as well and have never played in the EOC. How come cannon is no longer useful?
May 21, 201313 yr Author I think, but I'm not sure, that killing speed has been increased so much by EOC that cannon is no longer really worth the cost. I think it's still useful, just not really necessary for fast Slayer.
May 21, 201313 yr cannon doesnt tag your target, you need to physically attack them to make it "your" kill, though it does make them aggressive against you so it can be good if you're barraging/chinning
