Dungeoneering Worlds

Recommended Posts

Recently finished maxing out agility leaving my last skill, dungeoneering to train up. Currently I am 94, but when I went to the 80-100 world it was barren. Is there a better world to join parties on (or cc that I could use)?

I only see people on w77.

Be warned, It's a real cesspool full of elitists tards who don't know jack and will ruin your experience in their quest to minimize the little number at the upper left hand corner of the score screen.

I've found quite the opposite. They're idiots who will do anything to increase floor time.

Your best bet is to join a clan, or maybe dg with some friends.

My experience of w77 was different: lots of floors averaging 25 minutes, the floors fill quickly and there are always more opening, though early in the day it may take a few minutes before someone hosts a floor.

Most of the floors that get done there are occs, with a few abas and warps, and with c1s once per hour or so.

The floors are mostly relaxed, occasionally you will get someone who bugs everyone for faster floor time, or someone who doesn't really know what to do, but these are rare.

As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero.

Ensure you are not a social situation.

Last large floors I did on 77 were Kal'gers, 14 and 15 minutes or so (that had a lot of annoying rooms though, crit barrel as one of the last rooms etc.). It is very possible to get good teams, but much more reliable in clans.

Yeah, the high warps that I've done haven't been that bad. Not really relevant to the OP though.

I've been using w77 and been getting standard 20-25 minute times, so I guess it's ok for now. Maxing should be easy: Still haven't decided if I want to go for a comp.

Edit: Are there any updated guides I could use? I'm familiar with the one on this site, but it seems outdated due to toolboxes and the EoC trivializing GDs significantly. Are "keyers" still a thing?

For the most part everyone splits up and takes their own path now outside of the occasional emote/levers rooms. My experience on w77 has been between 20-40 minute floors.

As far as I know, keying doesn't happen anymore. You generally just gate things and keep track of them, and one person will control the gt and tell people where to move it and/or where to go.

No one should have to tell you where the gt should be moved. You should be able to read the map to know when you bring the gt to your path.

Of course, but we are talking about randoms here, and you find plenty of people in these worlds that don't know what they're doing.

I have done a number of floors on w77 in the past few weeks, with a lower bound at around 15 mins and an upper bound at around 25 mins. It's decent and easy to find teams for occs at offpeak times. C1s, Ab2s, and warps are tougher (96 dg at time of writing)

best drops (reasonably accurate/up to date): 1x Elysian Sigil (LS), 1x Arcane Sigil (cs), 4x Armadyl Hilt (solo at 100m, 100m, 50m, and 5m), 2x Saradomin Hilt (solo at 25m), 5x Draconic Visage (34m,1.2m,1.2m) and various cs/ls/ffa Nex splits.
Drygore Drops: 7 Longswords, 3 Maces, 3 Rapiers, 3 Off-hand Rapiers,  5 Off-hand Maces, 3 Off-hand Longswords

ROTS Shields: 12  Seismics: 16

Ascension Crossbows: 6  Spider Legs: 10

Countless Armadyl armour pieces, Saradomin amulets, Dragon Hatchets, and Fremenik Rings.
